Hint
The president in last line is Abraham Lincoln.Answer
Harriet Beecher StoweLyman Beecher was perhaps the most famous clergyman of the early 19th-century USA. His sons Thomas, Henry, and Charles followed his profession, earning their own reputations. Daughter Isabella was a noted crusader for women's rights. His oldest child, Catharine E. Beecher, founded home economics as a field of study. Another son, Edward, became the first president of Illinois State University.
The most famous of his children, Harriet, collaborated with her siblings at times, and wrote a few items of her own, including "Uncle Tom's Cabin". When she was presented to President Lincoln, he is reported to have greeted her with, "So you are the little woman who wrote the book that started this great war!"
