Brain Teasers
Where's the Gold 2
Bob Senior, had recently died. His will plainly expressed that his 5 million dollars worth of gold was to go to Bob Junior, but it seemed that Bob Senior (we'll call him Bob from now on and Bob Junior, Bobby) had hidden his gold and had given him a riddle within the will. Bobby pondered for a long while before figuring out where the gold was. Can you figure it out? Here is the will:
Great son, I have hidden the money.
Outstanding though you are, can you find my precious jewelry?
Let yourself explore your 120 arboresque friends to find the gold.
Do read on to save your time, son.
Uncovering 120 trees, though, takes forever and a day, so is it worth it?
No, so read on as you please & will.
Do not hire a professional detective.
Earn your right to the sybaritic gold.
Right side of arbor field it is.
Plot five plus six plus root of 7 or:
Instead take the 9th tree from left.
At noon the shadow will show you the difficult, unlikely solution.
Never forget the proverb: the pot will not boil by itself.
Outstanding you are, only by finding the gold do you, my son, have the right to claim it.

Hint
The fourth from the bottom line contradicts the whole teaser, or does it? The will has two riddles, or is it three or four? Should you really trust what is said in the will?Answer
The gold was hidden under the piano. The first letters of the sentences spell: GOLDUNDERPIANO. Put spaces in to get "Gold Under Piano"! The actual text in the will is only to confuse you.Hide Hint Show Hint Hide Answer Show Answer

I was reading every other line, removing words and letters, working math, wondering how to make a pot boil!! Ha ha ha...

First time I have answered one without really reading the whole thing...... noticed the answer within ..mm.. a minute. Enjoyed it though~ makes me think I might be a little "smart" ... Give us more~
I immediately got suspicious when I saw the odd initials of the lines.
I thought I had learned the lesson, "First things first," but I guess not.

Easy as pie and just as tasty. I surprised myself by finding it so easily. Loved it !
haha... completely missed that one!!
Awesome, best teaser I've read today! I got it halfway into the will. At first, I thought Bob was a bit loopy, but anyways. LOved it!
Here I was, trying to do mathematical equations, and it was that simple!! I didn't even notice that it said that!!
lol. the only thing that made me look there was the classic line from national treasure one:
wats his name, bad guy leader - "gentelmen, y is this word capitalized?"
goon - "because its important?"
wats his name, bad guy leader - "gentelmen, y is this word capitalized?"
goon - "because its important?"
now im gonna actually read the will.
lol. the hints probably threw SO many ppl off.
By the time I got to the 6th line, and noticed the odd cadence of the lines, I figured it must have something to do with the actual order of the lines, not what they said. So I looked at the first letters, expecting to need to read them backwards or something, but the answer was right there, from the top down...
Hm. Little too easy, but super fun anyway.
Hm. Little too easy, but super fun anyway.
Really easy for me, I got it before I started reading the note just because I thought the beginning of the first sentence was a little weird (Great son o.o) so I looked at the beginning of each line and figured it out.
SouorDough didn't read past the first line when he noticed the Caps off to the left due to his perfect peripheral vision in his middle eye!

that was hard... I thought maybe it had something to do with the fact that Senior and Junior were capitalized. I thought that it meant that was their last names and you were trying to trick us....
oh yea, and the hint was no help...just more riddles....
Hehehe..
I don't know if its easy or difficult.
I don't know if its easy or difficult.
That was easy! Actually I found it without really trying. It took me a while to actually figure out what it said though.
I enjoyed this Teaser. This teaser was very Clever and well comprised, utilizing the art of Mystery to the fullest extent of deception. Good Work.
