Imps. All of the words with the blanks in front of them will form new words when "imp" is inserted in the blank.
An imp, by the way, is a small demon or a mischievous child.

This was quite confusing to me. The question, I thought said the prefix would complete the question, but "They breath IMPair" is not a completed anything.
I did not like the wording of the original question.
If it had said "a prefix can be added in each blank to make a word with the suffix" or something, I believe it would have been a better puzzle.

the question was "what little guys am i talking about" (thats a paraphrase, i dont remember the exact wording).
Well it says compete not complete but we get your drift. Perhaps you should have ___lied that the rhyme didn't necessarily make sense.
The wording of this teasers question is very confusing "This teaser is asking for you to find the prefix that will compete each unfinished word, AND WILL also answer the question". It gives the impression that the word you are looking for is also the prefix needed to complete the phrases, when clearly this is not the case. The answer is IMPS, yet imps does not fit any of the words above Impsair, Impsale, Impslore , Impsressed, Impsart, Impsending. Obviously the word you are looking for and the prefix required is IMP.
Nice teaser otherwise

I did not understand this one. First, the solution is a word, not a prefix. Second, it is not clear that the sentences are not going to make sense after the new words are created.
