Answer
Holding device = bagSlender = thin
Savory = spicy
Lube fried = boiled in oil
Tuberous pieces = potato slices
Ingest = eat
So the simple version is:
Shall we get a bag of spicy chips to eat?

"Slender" would lend itself more to french fries, and savory doesn't directly mean spicy. Don't make word 'puzzles' if you don't know how.
