The Impossible Dream?
What situation is represented in the second line below?
O(Legal)ff(Letter)ic(Notepad)e
Office
O(Legal)ff(Letter)ic(Notepad)e
Office
Hint
Technology was supposed to help this happen, but many wonder if it actually has.Answer
Paperless officeLegal, letter, and notepad are all different types of paper that are in the first word 'office' but are gone from the second word. Therefore you have a 'paperless' 'office' in the second word.

Clever........Good Job!
Oops, just noticed that I forgot to take out "the one indicated with the arrows" in the answer. Hope I didn't destroy the integrity of this teaser by taking out the arrows. I just thought they added some confusion, and I'm sure that one of them wouldn't have shown up, as "less than" symbols always seem to disappear.
"Hope I didn't destroy the integrity of this teaser by taking out the arrows."... Likewise ;) . It kinda looks funny without it to be honest. You couldn't have used stars or something?
To be honest, I had just finished reading the submission guidelines and was reminded that we're not supposed to accept rebuses that use arrows to point out specific words (and yes, I know that we do this all the time anyway). I figured that if the question itself asked about the second line, then nothing more would be required. If you don't like it then by all means ask Jake to fix it. I hereby solemnly swear that it was I, Bobbrt, acting alone, who made this change, and if D feels that it should be changed back, then I will not stand in the way of artistic progress.
Lol... no probs. Thanks. I'll probably just leave it, personally I don't see the problem with using arrows or asterisks so long as the construction in the rest of the teaser is clever - sometimes it's the only way.
Although it does say "second line" I think something indicating the single word 'office' would have helped some of us non-readers. The hint was what I needed!
