Aesop's Fables IV
We've all read Aesop's Fables in one form or another. These interesting stories captivate our attention and always leave us with a moral. One of those morals is hidden in the story below. Can you find it?
Mrs. Need Smith is back! There's been a bank robbery in the bank that young Creation Smith visited the other day. Mrs. Need Smith happened to be around and also succeeded in pulling the mask off of the face of one of the perpetrators, who was too shocked to do anything but stare at her for a full 20 seconds! She was brought in to help identify the thief. Here's an excerpt of the conversation that the police officer had with Mrs. Need:
Officer: Ma'am, this is Mr. Decree, did you see him in the bank that day?
Mrs. N: No, I'm sure it wasn't this man. I've never seen him before.
Officer: How about this man, Ma'am. He calls himself Mr. Statute and is one of our prime suspects.
Mrs. N: I'm sorry Officer, but the thief was taller and had blond hair! I've never seen this man either.
Officer: Well Ma'am, here's the last guy we caught. Mr. Ordinance!
Mrs. N: Never mind Officer, get one of those people who sketch faces based on descriptions. It's not this man and I've not seen Mr. Ordinance before either.
