But what does your answer, "until death do we part" mean? I found that phrasing humorous, as it seems to have the opposite meaning of the more familiar, "until death do US part". That little word change makes a huge difference, I think - and maybe explains high divorce rates!
I agree with tpg... I'm more familiar with "Until death do us part." Which is the same as "Until death parts us." Whereas "Until death do we part" sounds like "We part until death."
Ewww, too confuzzling!
like evry1 else sed, it wouldve been easier as "til death do US part" but it was still a nice teaser
easy teaser =D
if you know marriage vows (which i do even though im like 12 [almost 13! xD]) then you would be able to get it. Good though!

Good rebus, Dan. It seemed easy to me, but rebus teasers are my favorite kind so maybe I concentrate on them more. Thanks for posting.
OK, Kiddies, time to break out the old Grammar book! Dan, my man, "we" is just dead wrong! Wrong case, that is. "We" is in the subjective case, which means it can be used as the subject of a sentence, but NOT as an object. "Us"is in the objective case, which is the correct usage in "Until death do US part" because "us" is the object of the verb, "do part". Backto fourth grade for you, friend, until you get your pronoun cases straight!
I'm sorry. English isn't my first language and I have put in for a correction but there has been none.
Actually, this is technically grammatically correct. The common phrase is "Until death do us apart" (not "until death do us part").
What this sentence is saying is "We're parted until we die." So it's right, it's just not what we'd expect, which is an interesting twist.

Nice.
Good one.
Fun, easy and entertaining teaser.
