Brain Teasers
Multiples of 7
There are eight different 2-digit numbers: AD, BA, BG, CE, DB, DH, EF, and FC. Each is less than 70 and divisible by 7. Each of the distinct letters represents a different digit. The same letter represents the same digit. Given E=5, what is G?
Answer
8.Since E=5, F=6 and C=3.
The remaining numbers divisible by 7 are 14, 21, 28, 42 and 49. The number 1 appears in the tens digit only once; therefore, A=1, B=2, D=4, G=8, and H=9.

cool teaser =) try mixing up the numbers next time. when i wrote the mutliples of 7 out i didn't have much work to do
Very easy, but an entertaining riddle. Once I worked out C, E and F the rest was simple.
it was fun and different. its hard to find different so great job
it is really fun..
It was too easy if a is 1 and b is 2 etc. if you would have said like e is 1 then it would of been harder to figure out.
Got to agree with Andy - it would have added another level of difficulty if you hadmixedthe number and letter orders once I got the e=5, f=6 then the a=1 and b =2, everything just fell into place. You should have tossed in a Y or a Q just for added interest. Good puzzler anyway.
I enjoy these sort of math elimination puzzles. Well done!
