Riddle
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.Riddle
I have no hard feelings towards geometry
But line and angle pertain to my enemy
Transparent surfaces afford my exposure
But at the same time, they comprise my enclosure
Should it be ultimately that boats my fate seal
You might later find me next to chips in a meal
What am I?

Should it be ultimately that boats my fate seal

Answer
a fishlines 1-2: In these lines, "line and angle" refer to fishing line and the act of fishing respectively.
lines 3-4: These lines refer to a fishtank/aquarium. "Transparent surfaces" refers to the glass walls of a fishtank. They enable you to see the fish, but they form the walls of an "enclosure".
lines 5-6: These lines refer to a fish being caught by a fishing boat, and to "fish and 'chips'" (chips = French fries).

TFF puts so much thought into crafting interesting and non-trivial rhymes. I love his/her/their teasers for that.
Lines 1&2: Interesting. Had to pause after reading that and got the answer.
Lines 3&4: I did not think of a tank, but just the transparent surface of a lake or stream.
Lines 5&6: awesome

Thanks very much, Snowdog!
It was all Greek to me. Did not understand it at all.
It was hard until you brought up "chips in a meal."
Got it with the chips too.
Brilliant teaser; so well thought out and fun to boot, thanks!
In the end the chips gave it away.

I'm excited to see this one in the daily teaser! TFF is writing new teasers at a prolific pace. I highly encourage everyone to check the list of recent teasers for some more terrific stuff.
Fun and easy teaser; the last stanza stating it can be found next to chips in a meal gave it away to me also.
Thank you all for your comments!
Another good one ThinksForFun. I also got it for sure by the line about finding it next to chips. I was pretty sure it was fish, but that made it positive for me.
