Great teaser! I thought it was hard.

I thought it was pretty hard, too. It was clever. Good job.
NOT BAD
Thank you all
it 3 am so i really don't care but, the words aren't "in" alphabetical sequence the first letter just spell alphabet. In ALPhabetical sequence Hyena would come phirst!
good
i've dissed a heck of a lot of riddles and this is the first on that i'm not gonna dis. GOOD JOB, THIS WAS A CHALLENGING ONE. now just cuz i said that don't think that i'm getting soft.
I dont get it
neat trick. good job
I agree with gooblah. The answer wasn't technically correct.
I took it as a play on words. It's obviously not going to be in alphabetical order due to moving one word. Great teaser.
Nice one!!
I was WAY off base on this one... I guess that's why these shouldn't be done an hour after you get out of bed. ~GOOD ONE~
I agree with TurdFerguson. And changing the position of one word would change all the positions.

i like llamas!
Really easy, but good. I read through the animals twice and I immediatly knew the answer.
this one was kinda easy.. but I added it to my favorites.. I liked it.. good job.
neat teaser.
Well done, liked this one
Wow, that was pretty hard. I don't have the attention span for Brain Teasers... lol
cool! nice one!
OKAY SO I WAS OFF A LITTLE. I LIKED THIS ONE BOBBYKAT. .CUTE, CUTE .
KUDOS TO YOU "MASTER"........ .
forgot it was trick
good job
good job
wouldn't personally call a word a 'sequence' but hey, that's why it's a teaser.
Very nice!
Good one!
very nice!!!
Aww, got me there. Great teaser though.
Didn't see that one coming. Very good.
I agree w/a couple of the others - just because the first letters spelled alphabet, that doesn't constitute and "alphabetical sequence" - I thought it was confusing also.
Good teaser. I got it after reading a few times
That was a really good one. Had someone else look at it and still had to look.
that was a nice play on words, sometimes you can't take these literally
Okay, Okay, good job! You know what? I think if you had said simply "change the position of one word to make it ALPHABETICAL...", then it would be perfect; but, that's just me. I know it's very, very hard to think up these, and I truly respect people for doing it! I've noticed a lot of controversy, much of it from me, lately about the correctness of a teaser. I know this is a family site, and I love it. I'm going to post a general topic today, for anyone interested, about this issue because there seems to be at least two camps of thught on this and I think it's an imporant topic; but ALL IN THE SPIRIT OF FUN!
I'm laughing, like a hyena
that was a bit hard for a pea brian such as mine but it was still very cool!!
I see your point shawneeo, but the word was alphabet and not alphabetical. So, I guess he would then have to add a few more words as well. Right? I need more coffee.
UUUMMM? Okay??
Great teaser. I loved it.
great teaser! it was fun
i didn't notice the category. if i did, i may have gotten it.
very easy but nice
if it was an alphabetical order it wouldnt be a great teaser
dont ya think?
if it was an alphabetical order it wouldnt be a great teaser

Very nice, I liked it!

i cant belive i didnt get it

Nice!
it was okay, but the way you worded it didn't make sense
this was good but wasnt worded right but i dont wanna sound like some old grumpy man so it was a great teaser n thanx 4 the fuun it was sweet
Indeed you intended to be vague in your directions to mask the relative facility in which a person would solve your braingle.
Neat and Clever
For that I say, Well done

"Change the position of just one of *the words below* so that all the words are in an alphabetical sequence:"
Below the words.
X) I moved below to the beginning, making the "the words below" in alphabetical sequence.

I thought the answer was any of them because no matter how you placed them they would always be in an alphabetical sequence Good one though
cool
I agree with some others that have said that really isn't the correct answer. What you asked is impossible, maybe if you asked but them in Alphabet Sequence, that would be right

this is a great one. I understood and agree with your answer. Hard for me and good for you!
If they all spelled "alphabetical" instead of "alphabet" it would make a little more sense. Or maybe I'm just splitting hairs.
The writer must have failed English. It is written completely wrong. Therefore there is no possible right answer.
Almost good ...Need to add aarvark and lion to the list to get "alphabetical" otherwise it's just in "alphabet" sequence
Cute. Even though i knew it was a trick, I didn't get it. Thanks for posting.
I got this one easily by just looking at the first letters and it jumped right out at me. Fun! Sorry so many found fault with it. I liked it.
i thought it was stupid...making the first letters spell out "alphabet" is not putting it in alphabetical sequence...
your sneaky
very nice
You tricked me. Good one.
I saw it was a trick question, but still didn't get it.
Good one!
Good one!
I thought the same as the post on June 25th, 2006.
I understand what everyone is saying and they are correct. You worded what you wanted wrong, BUT I figured out the word 'alphabet' so thought it was what you meant. It is most confusing though
I LOVED it! Clever teaser - and to all you complaining folks, this WAS in the trick category! Have a great weekend, friends! wink:
I agree Gayle, but you know some people do nothing but complain (take ofr instance one of the older comments where the guy admists he "dises" every riddle he has seen. These people complain every time they comment "too easy" "too hard" "it was a trick" and are never happy.
I honestly thin, that instead of a point requirement to be allowed to do something on here, they should make a rule that you can't comment on a quiz or teaser until you yourself have had at least 3 approved. Then these folks would see it isn't as easy to do as they apparently think it is.
**END OF RANT**
PS - I liked it.

BRAVO, HABS! Good idea! Amen!
Hi K & G , have a great week-end. Trick question, easy answer.
Got the right answer, but for the wrong reason. Thought the sequence was meant to be Alpha, Beta...
I liked this one.
To everyone knocking on the sequence part - a sequence is simply a logical order. The logic this order was following was the word 'alphabet' and, since it is made of letters, it is alphabetical in nature as opposed to numerical or otherwise.

I liked it and agree with HABS' comment.
I think some of you overanalyze; this is a puzzle, not a grammar test! It just took a little thinking to get it. These puzzles are supposed to promote thinking
Nice
Very clever! Loved it!
For anyone who saw " Kung Fu Panda " ......YHERE IS NOW A LEVEJ ZERU " its this teaser. hazy, misleading instructions, and an answer , that defies belief (in that it is more lame than the instructions.
At the top of the page it says, "Comments". It does not say what kind of comments, so if we complain it is a comment, and it is our prerogative to say what we think. If you complain about us, you are putting yourselves in the same category as you've placed us. A complaint is a complaint no matter where it is directed.
I agree with Babe. Some people just have to complain because they don't have anything else to say. This was a trick question, not a grammar test. I thought it was clever. Nice one Master, keep up the good work.
Enjoyed this fun and easy teaser; I got it right away because I remembered it from the last time it was teaser of the day.
Fun and easy teaser; I got it very quickly just as I did all the previous times I tried it.
Can move any word into any position. It asks to make the words be in an "alphabetical sequence". It doesn't say alphabetical order. Technically any sequence of letters is an alphabetical sequence.
