WTB: Classical Music

*You must choose your favorite classical composer (by classical, I mean not modern - so it could be from the Baroque period, Classical period, or Romantic period), and post them here on round 0. If you're one of those people who aren't so familiar with it, wait for a few people to post. Look up those composers on Youtube or something, and pick which one you like best. You should also post if you play any musical instruments. IF YOU DO NOT POST BY THE END OF ROUND 0, YOU MAY BE FIRED. If it's reaching the end of round 0 and someone has not posted yet, I will send them a PM.

*Once the game starts, the psych question will be for the Boss to look up a certain piece of music on Youtube (I will provide the link), listen to it, and assess it in terms of why/why not they like/don't like it, what they like/don't like about it, and anything else they have to say about it. Their memo can be anything, I'm not that picky about the memo.

*The employees and Rat should listen to the piece of music too, and you can discuss it based on what you already know about the other players (since they posted their favorite composer at the beginning), and based on what you think.

*THERE WILL BE NO CLUES.

Please join if you like classical music or if you are willing to try and listen to some!

Hello, I am modding a werewolf game for 15 people, open to anyone who is willing to be serious. 2 day long days 1 day long nights. It is just a normal game nothing too fancy, but I am doing a little quiz for points and based on points, you get some bonuses that won't affect gameplay. here is a link to the signup page.

I have set up a WWG. Although it's fast and active, so only sign up if you know you are going to be active. I don't give clues, but I do reveal if you shot a human, wolf or the seer at the end of each round. If you are interested please PM me and I will add you to my friends list(If you are not already on my friends list, shame on you . Hope to see you there.

Sign up for WWG #1776, The wolves visit the Shelilah

Some of the added extras:

Drawn by Writeaway- one of the greatest wolf dinners of all time.

~~~ROUND 2 CIPHER~~~
The solving of the cipher will lead you to a wolf. Generally a 26 (ABC answer cipher).
***Note: The clue may point to an immune player.
~~~MIDNIGHT POW-WOW~~~
Wolves will get a talkbox to talk through in the whole game to discuss strategies etc. However, if you're ethical, please don't make the poor humans wait for timeouts every night because you're all chitchatting.

~~~LAST WORDS~~~
Last words, you can pm them to me, may be censored as I wish.
~~~NIGHTTIME TRIVIA~~~
Winner decides on theme of next trivia. Winning the trivia also gives you extra benefits, a choice of:

- Seer: Simple enough, check if someone is a something. So, you must ask: "Is changhill mentally retarded?", and I may answer "Yes", but you can't ask something like "What's the mental condition of changhill?"

- Spector: Bring back someone from the dead to post through me.

- Guest List: Encrypted list of who's won the previous trivias.

- Secret Meeting: A temporary TB, where the winner may invite up to 3 other people to discuss what ever they want.

- Immunity: Works for the next round, and next night, no eating or shooting this player.

- Hard Clue: To either a wolf or the seer, depending who gets it. Humans may also request a clue to the seer, if they feel like it...

These powers will be available in unlimited quantity, the player who wins one will choose what he or she wishes to have; however, the hard clue will become unavailable when there is one wolf left.
*** To make things fair, there will be no more NTT after 6th round.

~~~EXTRA POWERS~~~
***Powers you may use anytime, anywhere, anyhow, anytime.
Wolf taunt: wolves may send a message through me to everyone else, saying whatever.
Seer taunt: seer may send a message through me to the wolves' talkbox.
If I am not on your friends list and you want to join add me.
I am hosting a two day wtb game for twenty, anyone who wants to have a disccusion filled game can join here is the scoop.
Okay, this is a game where almost anything goes. I will create a talkbox for just the boss and rat. I will randomly chose a person to be a seeker using an online randomizer. they will pm me a question during the time after a round about the identity of one person. I want active players, and lots of disscusion. I also will let the players ask a question. to be able to ask the question you must post at least 5 time the previous round, and you must answer the question I will give you at the start of the round.
I am also issuing a color code so other players don't skip important info.
red is important not OMG my dog just did a trick, but I have very valuable information to the game. Don't abuse this with every post you make, just the very important things
blue is for if you are posting who you think is the boss. Please dont just post a name, give some reason.
green is for a question/comment to me, I will respond in green
highlight this next partwhite is for a message you want the boss to see. So let it stand out by posting it first and having a large gap to you other text.
black is normal game text you may use it as much as possible. Please obey the color code it should help the game stay interesting.
Just click the wtb symbol to go to signups!
I just started a Who's The Boss game called #1822 : Active Trivia Boss Game.
It'll have 15 players and each round will last for 1 day.
No special rules except that if you answer my trivia question correctly each round, you get to ask the Boss a second Psych question.
Please sign up and be active for a great game.
WTB Quidditch Tournament: Game #1
Game ID: 1867
I am pleased to say that the highly exciting magical game of Quidditch is coming to Braingle in tournament style!
Here's how it works:
1. At the beginning of the game, each of you will be assigned to teams (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin). The Boss and Rat will be in a team as well (not necessarily the same one), but disguised as a normal player. The Boss and Rat, in addition to their own individual team talk boxes, will have their own talk box to discuss tactics. Nobody knows who the Boss and Rat are.
2. There is a storyline for each round. At the beginning of each round, I will post something about what's going on in the game. The teams will then have 2 days to discuss (within their respective talk boxes) what is going on and in which to place their vote. The teams should come to a consensus on the vote within their talk boxes and each player must place the vote that their team decided on, whether or not each player agrees. This will be monitored, and anyone that does not vote with the rest of their team will be disqualified by the referee (me).
3. There may be separate discussion in this discussion board as well; in fact, it will be strongly encouraged. This is the time in which the Boss and Rat can deceive the rest of the players.
4. In this game, the Boss is considered the Snitch. Finding him/her will end the game.
5. The teams win if they voted for the correct person. The points are as follows:
If:
A team votes for the Boss all during the game, they receive: 500 points
A team votes for the Boss about three-quarters of the game, they receive: 400 points
A team votes for the Boss about half of the game, they receive: 250 points
A team votes for the Boss about one-quarter of the game, they receive: 100 points
A team almost never votes for the Boss, they receive: 0 points
Ties are possible.
6. The team (or teams) that wins will have their points added to the Quidditch Cup totals. There are a total of four games in one season, which means that each player will have to be devoted to going throughout the whole season. If someone does not wish to continue the season, they must find a replacement player.
7. The players from each team will be able to choose which role they play. There will be five people per team: 1 Keeper, 2 Chasers, 1 Beater, and 1 Seeker. They will be able to choose these roles when they convene in their talk boxes.
8. The way the game discussion thread in here goes is it will be role-played, but it isn't that big of a deal. This is like telling a story about yourself in 3rd person. For example:
Intrepidus saw a big Bludger heading his way, and took a swipe at it with his club. The Bludger soared away over the stands and hit an innocent spectator.
So, as you can see, this is in 3rd person.
9. The teams do not have the power to decide how their actions affect the opposing team. In other words, you can choose what happens to you.
10. The role-play is just incorporated to add some fun into the game. It does not determine who wins the match.
11. Just go with the flow of the game. Even if you didn't discuss it with your team first, you can always do some improvising about what your team does. Remember, it doesn't matter about the final score.
12. To make it easier for everybody, while posting in the game discussion at all times*:
Gryffindors should post in red.
Hufflepuffs should post in orange.
Ravenclaws should post in blue.
Slytherins should post in green.
*This rule does not apply for Round 0.
This Quidditch season will take place over four separate games, with all of the same players (with the exception of players who do not wish to continue playing). The final point standings will determine the winners of this season's Quidditch World Cup!
If you have questions, feel free to PM me or post in Round 0.
This game has 20 player slots, and each round takes place over 2 days to give each team ample time to discuss.
