Oh, am I embarrassed! So sorry Randy, and whovi. Can I SAY I was really having a bad day? I did not answer it but left the message out there because I thought there was a way of notifying Jake, but couldn't remember how to do it. Thanks for that info, Bobbi. For some reason I feel maybe whovi and I were not the only ones that got these little notes. I so dislike when someone puts themselves out there like piece of meat.

I wanted to let everyone know that Grayma is in the hospital in the ICU. She has a bad staff infection and her heart is also giving her problems. I spoke with her on the phone earlier, and she sounds good, but tired. Please keep her in your prayers.

I spoke to her again tonight and she sounds a little better. She was more alert and didn't sound so medicated. Hopefully, they will know something in the next day or so as to what is next...

I'm getting used to it. There are some things I like and some things I don't. But you can't deny that it's nice to see something being done to it. It hasn't been abandoned, lol!
Froggy, thank you for letting folks know why I disappeared so suddenly and why it will be gone for a while yet. Have a pace maker now, but that doesn't help with my arrhythmia. When it decides to act up, it drops me where I stand or sit. It happened twice in the hospital and as I wad headed to bed last night it dropped me to the floor. So when I came to enough I tried to wake the others awake, nope no luck. So finally I just furled up and went to sleep. Liked to scarred my daughter to death when she found me all stretched out on the floor. My own doctor is quite concerned as they have taken 27 pounds of water weigh off me Nice to be4 sort of skinny, but this light headedness is for the birds.
This will probably be my last message for a while as I am still too weak to stay out of bed that long. Love you all, thanks for the prayers, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO those I have missed.

Glad to hear that you are home and happy to read your post. Been a while since I've seen that blue print that you are known for. Now, you need to follow your doctor's orders and get lots of rest so you can heal - and no more sleeping on the floor! (wink). Seriously, you are really missed here, but we will still be here when you feel well enough to come back. Lots of continued prayers, hugs, and love, Grayma!

Considering those being affected by the hurricanes and tropical storms on the east coast, I am fine... however, I got water in the ear about 3 weeks ago. I seem to get it once a year and it lasts a week or so. 3 weeks ago. It has come, it has gone... I know I no longer have the water on the ear; but my ears got their own ideas right now. First one ear, than the other seem to become swollen. Two days ago, everything seemed gone... today, left ear said he wasn't finished... and it has been one heck of a day. I am not looking for empathy... I have experienced this before... but dang; I took precautions with ear plugs for the water. No luck. I think next year I will get the deep divers ear plugs and their leather hood for over the head. I may not cool down in the water, but will not get the water in the ear!
And... on that note... for any of you in the south east states that Irma is about to hit... be careful!

Randy, when my daughter was young, she constantly had ear infections. We had to actually have tubes put in both ears, which did help. That said, the doctor said to put a few drops of alcohol in her ears after she went swimming. The reason is that the alcohol will displace and evaporate any water left in the ear. I actually do this myself after swimming and even after washing my hair (water gets in your ears then as well) and it really does work.
I also send prayers to all those affected by the flooding, fires, and hurricanes.
