I should take that book up again, I kind of just stopped reading it. Probably because I could check out actual physical books and not strain my eyes reading online.

I finished The Big Sleep.

I'm not starting The Maltese Falcon, yet. I'm taking a reprieve with The Stranger.

Woah. Lots of nouns.

I just finished reading A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. I think I actually enjoyed it a lot more than the movie.

Moving onto Frankenstein by Mary Shelley now.

Ah, Frankenstein. I read that. It's okay. [I still say poor daemon, though]. I wanted to read A Clockwork Orange, but my school doesn't have it.

I'm not reading anything new currently. Still finishing up the Big Sleep; but I do want to work on All Quiet on the Western Front and Iceman Cometh afterwards.

Reading Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. Our English class is doing studies on individual authors, and I chose Tolstoy. I do wish that some of his stories were translated better.

Postponed my reading of Frankenstein to read and finish the short story The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. It's a fantastic short story, and well worth a read through if any of you haven't already. An online copy is available here. It's going to be very helpful for my English research project on alienation.

Ha. Read about Gregor too. But, a project on an alien nation? Ehhhh. Lol.

King Richard III - Shakespeare. It's mandatory for my course in English... I don't like Shakespeare. I find it so hard to understand what words mean, let alone follow the story line. Thank goodness for scene/act summaries!

Most of Shakespeare's actually not that bad. Plus, his plots are actually pretty interesting.

I'm currently reading All Quiet on the Western Front. I've always found WWI interesting (far more than its second incarnation). I've also already seen a film adaptation. That was good; the novel seems rewarding as well.

I had to do that too, I would never have gotten through without summaries and the video we watched of it with Ian KcKellen in it.

I'm now reading The Pact - Jodi Picoult.
