Hi cub and welcome back.

It's really hot here as well with a few weeks now in the triple digits and fires burning all over the place.

It wasn't a debate, it was a bashing ceremony and Clinton was getting clues on what to say through an ear piece. and
Trump could care less what she said nor give her time to speak he was... well, Trump.

Really? An ear piece? How do you know that?

The media here is really lashing out at Trump...making him out like he shouldn't be there....
from what I saw, Clinton didn't say HOW she was going to do anything. All she keeps repeating is how she's going to make America strong again. But HOW? Give us an idea of what you think might make America strong. Although Trump seems to shoot from the hip, at least he says what he believes. I don't know which of them would be better but I think Trump would give a good shake of the sauce bottle!

There was an actual picture of her on yahoo news... now, I do not always believe everything I see and read; but this picture had two poses... one of her looking at Donald during the debate with a circle around her ear... then next to this a blow up of her ear where you could see the ear piece in the left ear.

I agree, she gave no indication of how she would us strong again. Sure can't be from lying and cheating to get into office. Trump gave indications on how he would do it; but his sound a lot more like a dictatorship than getting the people to rally around his ideas.

We are just in for some fun and games soon enough.

Check out Andy Dick helping George Bush on his speeches...it is on You Tube... it's hilarious!

Yeah. I don't know about either of them. Clinton or Trump.
I think with Clinton you'll get the politically correct more of the same....
With Trump...I don't know.... he's an unknown... but he's right. He knows business and how to make money and create jobs ....so maybe ....

Personally I am glad. My daughter is a history teacher and she disagrees. I guess this is that, time will tell, type of situation. Business will not be as usual.

Personally I am glad too although I am not American or living in America.
I think it is one of the elements which will begin the casting away of political correctness...as Brexit is doing.....

I'm also glad that Trump won. I couldn't image having Hillary as our President. Now, time will tell...

If Hillary won, nothing would change.
I ask my Obama supporting friends what DID Obama achieve in his 8 years? Nothing really.
And that is how Hillary would be.

Our politics down here are the same. We're sick of both main parties but there is no one else viable to vote for....

Well folks, I have kept missing the birthday wishes on the proper dates and I m sorry - my health just seemed to keep flaring up and giving me problems - lay off and in a couple days I would feel better. You now how a new Grayma V to deal with.

Thank heaven for my Home Health Nurse. She came to check on me on Monday and found me rather lethargic and just not up to par. She asked me if I had any dizziness, well no more than my usual dizziness that I have always had, ha ha! Are you light headed? No not particularly, why? Well your heart rate is down to 38 and that is much too low. I'm going to call your doctor and see what he thinks. So she called and they set an appointment for me at 3:30 the next afternoon. So she left me to my devices - almost one hour to the minute all of a sudden, returning to my room from the bathroom suddenly I was aware I was falling forward toward my window. I grabbed my computer desk and my little white desk where I keep my meds and pulled myself backward so I wouldn't fall out my window. Never passed out, but opened up a 3 inch patch of thin skin on my left arm, right above my wrist and as I slammed down I slammed my back, about and inch and a half away from my spine, onto my desk leg, knocking the wind out of myself. Thankfully my daughter heard me and came hustling up, grabbed a clean washrag and pressed the skin back onto my arm, stopping the blood. NO sense going to the hospital because she did the same thing the nurses would have done. Now realize, I take blood thinner all the time.

The next afternoon at the doctor's appointment he immediately called my cardiologist, who demanded I come to the hospital where he was located (30 miles away) because he was afraid my heart would stop over night and the closest heart surgeon was at his hospital. To shorten this already long story, by 9 AM on Tuesday I became the bearer of a PaceMaker. I am not supposed to raise my arm for at least two weeks, but I shall continue to plug along, hoping that my birthday people will understand if I cut things a bit shorter, and maybe not always get things on the correct days.

I feel very fortunate and my kidneys appear to be working, my breathing is better, and if I can get some rest now I think my outlook on life will improve immensely. Enough for tonight.

Glad you are doing okay! Your health is priority one. I hope the pace maker does improve things for you - keeps your ticker on schedule, lol.

Thank you for your kind words. Happy to say my arm seems to have done a really fast job of healing. I realized that they had placed a clear, see through bandage on it and of course it would be the same material as a Band-Aid. I of course am allergic to any kind of tape, except paper tape. Don't know whether I itched it off or just plain picked it off my wrist. If so I did carefully and as I say, thankfully it has stayed shut. My next target is my neck, which also is covered by a bandage that is driving me wild. But since I know what this is covering and protecting, I will attempt to leave it alone. One day at a time, I keep saying. And in the long run I believe the best is yet to come. Am not so apt to fall asleep in the middle of a conversation now. Hooray! I have hated it when that happens, especially when I am talking to myself. LOL Hugs to all.
