I've said it many times before, but humanity would benefit greatly from the total obsolescence of the "profession" of bus-driving. Why pay some clumsy blowhard for what a machine can do to such a higher degree? They are one of my many enemies in this world.

Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

Finding out Photobucket has completely changed their policies and all my graphics posted on Braingle are now just square box messages!!! They say to upgrade for 3rd part hosting - sure, for $399.00 per year!

Does anyone know of another site for storing all your graphics and pictures? I am really angry with Photobucket and I've been with those jerks for over ten years... Grrrr....

Buy a cheap web-host and put all your pictures on there. You can then organise them however you like. And you have almost complete control!

My beautiful dog has bitten another dog...he is aggressive towards other dogs [except our other dog]
We can't take him amongst other dogs.
We've exhausted most dog training facilities - except the ones who charge thousands and still no guarantee.
We're trying to find him another home...being honest about his behaviour.
We are thinking about euthanasia.

Froggy, my son swears by google photos. Its free.

Snappytom, sorry to hear about your dog issues, you must have an alpha male.
I hate to change the subject, but have you heard of Justine Damond?

New crowns on my back molars. Just the discomfort of getting used to a new thing - and general soreness from the procedure.

Do I look to be in a gaming mood?

Yes Justine Damond. What a sad event.... what was she doing out there though? If I thought there was something bad going on outside my house, I would not be going out to give directions. I'd be hiding behind my curtains!

Yeah dog is still here. We have made one last ditch effort with a K9 dog trainer. Spent money we don't really have but we can't be so heartless and put him down. He's 90% a great dog. The dog behaviourist said she though he was afraid and that is why he behaves this way - kill before you get killed sort of thing. It is like a switch. We got him a new 'pinch' collar for when we take him out. He is a real softy at home but unpredictable outside.

When anyone comes over we will put him away for everyones good.

The other dog apparently has anxiety issues. We think she is autistic. She will suddenly get up and walk towards the door as if she wants to go out. When you get up and open the door, she walks backwards and looks at you as if "You outta your mind?? I'm not going out there!"

They are opposites but we love them very much.

So I'm STILL frowning about my dog.

The IT department of my college has gone mad. They have blocked most of the gaming sites including Steam. That's not all. They have blocked Braingle too!! I must be literally the only person using this site in my college!!

Every problem can be solved with a trick but finding that trick itself needs another trick.

Snappy, the Justine Damond shooting happened less then 10 miles from where I grew up. It's a very nice area with a low crime rate. I can't say that happened there but most people agree that the cop was not justified in this situation.

Good luck with your dog.

A person's dog is just that... their dog. Most dogs fall in love with their owner and will be the greatest companion in the world... they will defend you at ... okay, maybe not with their life, but they will do what they can for their owner. The defense is sort of up to the dog... but I think it is safe to say most will be at their owner's side for any confrontation. I know my dog protects me almost every day from the postman who tries every day to climb into my house by way of the mail box slot.. they have not made it into my house since Murphy has come into our lives!

Putting your dog out of touch with anyone coming into your house is a smart move... many do not think they have to. My dog is one of the exceptions, in that he will bark at strangers... but once we let someone into the house, he wants to see how much loving and pets he can get with the new person.

I sit out front with him on my lap (on a lease)... and when a dog is being walked on the sidewalk... I just look down at him and say, "That's my friend"... and he doesn't bark but whines. It is the funniest thing... he knows not to bark; but he wants to respond to this other dog walking near him... The owners of the dogs can usually hear him and me... and just smile and wave.

For the rest of 2018, let me dedicate this to my wife of 40 years, Roberta. Rest in Peace Love.

Yeah jaycr.. I agree...that cop was crazy! Noone deserves to be shot just because... I feel sorry for her family. And what is going to happen to the cop?

RGW4, our dogs are like that too...once you're in, you're fine. But most people feel uneasy with two large dogs looming....even if they don't growl. Tia is like Teddy Bear [Strassman] - she's all soft and smoodgy but she's BIG! Sits on her bottom with her back legs pointing out...I've never known a dog to sit in such an ungainly manner...Max is , well, Mad Max... large, excited, jumps like a very large lamb...almost skips... And Max doesn't bark at anyone walking past the house...but should you come to the gate...ring the bell...watch out! Once you're in...he's OK. But people just don't want to give him a chance.

And he HATES any other dog. Ever. That's how we got into this mess.

Both are cool characters when it is only us.
