Cub, I only play Words with Friends with my true friends and family... as a matter of fact right now the only ones I am playing it with is my sister, one of my brothers, and my daughter. If they want to use a cheat code they can... there is nothing to gain... being high on the weekly game board means zero to me. I know my brother and sister play lots of people, some they do not know and every week their numbers are higher than mine because the numbering system is based on the person, not the comparison between the two of us only. So all is good to me.

Plus if you google Words with Friends helper, there is one that gives you the next best word to play for free. Plus you can save the board.

Did someone say "inactive"?

Goodness sake, now there is an old and familiar blue star! Paladin, it is indeed good to see you. Have missed you. Don't stay away so long. Am hoping you can see your way clear to spend some quality time with us here on Braingle. Welcome back.

Thanks Paladin and right back at you. Does this mean it is one day longer until Spring? Hope not as I have been enjoying the warm sunlight out on the front porch, but they are talking snow in the forecast again. Bummer. We still have a bit of snow piled up from the parking lot across the street, but I'm sure it will soon be gone.

It's been in the 50s here which has been very nice. I love the winter and dread the summer, but a little spring weather is always welcomed

Well, hello there, Paladin! It's been a while! It's been warmer here than usual with temps in the mid to high 70s. We didn't have much winter so I'm hoping for at least another month or more of cooler temps and more rain. I am definitely NOT ready for summer and the triple digits!

I concur Froggy, it got cold for a bit...we HAVE had more rain than in the past few... just not enough to make me feel warm and cozy. I see rain in our forecast next week... which is nice. Most of our weather forecasters on the major stations keep saying we should be in for a few weeks of wet weather. Not sure I want to jump up and down quite yet.

Paladin... glad to see you around here again. Even if you are not interested in playing too many games right now, sometimes the discussions (even if we are currently using this forum for general discussion) are still fun and sort of relaxing over our normal day to day activities.

Yes, it seems the activity level is down from what it was "back in the day" but I've been enjoying meandering around the site and reminiscing ;)
