I recently finished my first reading of one of Natsume Soseki's darker novels, Sore Kara. I don't usually tear up when reading, but I did like when Daisuke was finally able to confess his heart.

I have now started on a science fiction novel about advertisers in space, Space Merchants. Sounds interesting thus far.

Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?
