"noob" is slang for "newbie", meaning you are new (as lil pointed out). It is a universal term to someone being new anyplace, even Braingle.

i made the topic. and a noob's definition is something that is noobish.
and the noob thing was my idea even if you made the topic. and if i remember correctly (and i do) I typed the topic! And most of the words were my idea! Owned!!!
