And about the bad Karma, you practically yelled at Jake on the bug report for something he didn't do. That might have triggered it *shrug*

Expect apologies? No, No! I would never expect some to meet that as some kind of a requirement .
sorry if I gave that impression. Me apologize??? In a heartbeat. I have no issues against that! SOOOO I can apologize, I do apologize to one and all here on Braingle. One more time, I apologize and pray it will be accepted by some, or all.
My sincere apologies,
Celtica

Thank you bradon!! OKC will be 72 degrees tomorrow, sunny. a great day for a picnic in Will Rogers Park. OH, wait a minute, there IS a picnic there tomorrow. A yearly thing for my org., D.B.S.A.
But I will not be attending this year, as we had a suicide in our family on September 21, my nephew; was 23 yrs. old, just graduated from U.C.O. w/ a Degree in Finance. We saw it coming all his short life but could do nothing to stop it. His Mom is a wreck...His name, Jason...

Celtica, please accept my deepest sympathy as well. So young to be so confused that he had to take his own life. My heart goes out to you, his Mom and the rest of the family.

very sorry about your loss Celtica.

I hope that you come back onto Braingle, but I also hope that you consider others opinions, and not get upset if people disagree with you.

We're a good bunch of people, and I think there might have been some miscommunication in the Mental Health forum. I know I got very angry, because I saw what I thought was you attacking people I consider to be good friends of mine. I was also very annoyed when you sent out insulting PMs to people and then didn't allow them to reply (which perhaps might be why you didn't receive a reply to your PMs?)

I think it also got up people's noses when you started to dictate about things, like wanting to close down a topic you made. You might not have been aware of it due to the fact you just started, but Braingle isn't a site that is like that - we like to discuss and think, and if one person doesn't want to be a part of that, then the expectation is that they remove themselves from the topic - not demand its closed down - because if things close down then no one can be a part of them.

There are always things that people don't like being discussed on Braingle - in fact, a few years ago, an entire forum was changed because so many people were getting upset. We now seem to have an un-said policy of being mature and keeping away from things that upset us (apart from a few stirrers that are always around!)

Anyway, I don't want this to set off an argument, I just want to point out that I think people on both sides got the wrong end of the stick. I hope that if you do come back, that you consider other people's feelings - not just in what you say, but in how you behave - insulting people and then not allowing them to stand up for themselves is no way to make friends, which is basically why we're all part of this great site.

Welcome Back (I hope) Celtica

Beetle, thank you for publically encouraging Celtica to rejoin the folks on Braingle. And Froggy, you, my angel, have extended your hand. I'm proud of both of you. We don't all get along on Brinagle all the time, but we sure do try to, After all we are trying to set examples for our youth. And how can we expect them to be respectful and caring if we as adults cannot overcome our own misunderstandings. Ladies, we are just a few days late for Jake's birthday, but my thinking is that mutual tolerance is a nice present for anyone. Ladies, you have given the old Grayma reason to smile. At least it is a good start. Hugs to all, Grayma V

Thank you to one and all. I think things are going to work out for the best all around. I hope any resentment, etc. has gone down the river by now. Sounds as if they have. And I think Grayma's idea for a birthday present is pretty original and creative, and fits very well here. Happy birthday Jake. Oh, and thanks for keeping up this site too.
