Card Games
Faro
Faro is a simple betting game that was frequently played during the Old West. In this game, a complete suit (Ace through King) is laid out on the table. Players can place bets on any of the cards. The dealer then turns over a card from the deck. This is the losing card, and any bets that were placed on the matching card on the table are lost to the bank. The dealer then turns over another card, which is the winning card. Anyone who placed a bet on the matching card on the table wins money from the bank. If your bet was unsettled, it remains on that card for the next round.
