(Now for the story)
The Great Battle raged on. Days, Weeks, Months, Years ticked by. The bodies continued to pile up. At this time there was only a few Cowboys and Indians left fighting, about 20 at most. Now as the battle nears its end, it is time to finally see once and for all, who is the stronger of the two. Saddle up and sharpen those arrows. It is time to join us one last time, as the C&I saga finally comes to a close. Yes this will be the last ever C&I game. But all good things must come to an end.
Humans= Indians
Seer Inaian Chief
Cowboys= wolves
A few more things.
1: Please be active (I cannot stress this enough, Inactive players ruin games and make it less enjoyable for all involved.
2: Note that I "will" be revealing the ID's of fallen comerads. It is custom in all my games.
3: If you do not like playing games in which the ID's of the players are revealed, then this is not the game for you.
4: Also note that this is 1 day and 1 night rounds, so if you are looking for a longer game this won't be for you either.
5: Please save the first post for the "Mod" this way it is easier to read the posts in which the players ID's are revealed from the prewious round.
That is all. Please be active and have fun.

Sorry to see it's the last one in the series, but I can't wait to play this one out again. Stewie even though I know I was wolf last game, I have never been a wolf or even the seer in one of your games so I am hoping this time!
Hopefully. And yes it will be sad to see it go. But I have one or two things in mind for the future and figured it was time to move on. Oh and I like the new avi pic. Still sticking with yoshi(My 2nd favourite mario character)
Thanks for joining. Hope you enjoy the game soccer.

Who's your first favorite Stewie?
Sorry about that froggy...immunity next game you play though!
Sorry about that froggy...immunity next game you play though!
My favourite. Well it was donkey kong for many a year. But Recently it's .
I don't know why his character has grown on me over the years. He was and still is the character I relate to most in RL. And he is more fun(less traction, jumps higher) than Mario. So Luigi Mario is my favourite character. Who is your top 3 mario characters.
PS to the game froggy and bo. Always great to have two of the pest WWG(C&I) players join your game.
And another one (Bo) has been around since the very get go(although bo left it late) he was still one of the 15 originals to play in the very first C&I game back in early march of 2008. (soccerguy) was also in the original fifteen. So I would like to thank them both espicially for putting up with my schinanigans for one and a half gruelling years. Thank you.

yep Snowy soccer and bo. Were all in the first game way back in early march 2008. Thank you for putting up with my schinanigans for the last year and a half a laugh. I shall post the C&I history up later on for all to bask in the great C&I saga and see where they flipped and flopped over time...

Hi Stewie and everyone else
Unfortunately I won't be able to join as we are moving house on Thursday and the new place doesn't have the internet yet. In the last C & I game, I wasn't able to participate due to all the real life issues and I wouldn't won't to do that again to everyone.
Hopefully by the end of August I'll be back full time on Braingle
I hope you all have a great game.

The sound of the wild, but if there is no one there, does anyone hear their howls?
I heard about this game from soccerguy and he told me that I had to join. Hi everyone!
Yeah, I'm in. Though I always get confused on these games...
It's weird that the wolves are the Cowboys... when it was the Indians that did the whole animal totems thing... and were much more aligned with nature in general... so, hopefully I won't do a suicidal post where I say 'Don't shoot me I'm a Cowboy!" When I meant to say "I'm a human"
Fractions are romantic.

Ya know Piney, I get the roles mixed up in my head too. I keep thinking the wolves are the Indians.

You two aren't the only ones! I do the same thing because I keep thinking the Indians are the wolves and the cowboys are the Humans.

Oh, well I feel better. I thought it was just me!!
So, if I screw up and say Indian or Cowboy please forgive.
Especially since I brought this up well before roles were even selected!!

It's all the stereotyping over the years . . . Indians are bad, cowboys are good . . . . . I agree though, if I should make a mistake - remember these posts!!!

Now doggone it ladies, I was confussed enough to begin with. Why'd you have to go and make it worse? Just checking in to make sure the game hasn't filled yet and I already missed the first round. Don't know if we are supposed to remember our Indian names or not, but I still go by Little White Dove. Imagine that! Hey Dan, good to see you again. You have found anoother classic game to be in. Good luck. Hugs to all and I think my bed is calling me so guess it's nite, nite to all.

These games have been fun Stewie... especially since you were iinterested in the stories and lore we occaisonally posted. Last weekend I went to an anniversary party at a ranch cabin built in 1882 after the original was burnt down in a raid by Tonto Apaches. The really interesting thing is the homesteader named Isadore Christopher had killed and skinned a bear which was hanging in the porch. Isadore saw the Indians coming and skidaddled. When a couple of calvary soldiers came to check on the ranch, they found the bear carcass in the burned down cabin and buried it thinking it was Isadore. Some of the town people were holding a memorial service for Isadore at his ranch when he came walking up and asked who died. Later he ordered a mail order bride who got off the train, took a look at him and got back on the train. So, the townfolk got him all cleaned up and they ordered another one. This one stayed and married Isadore. Her name was Mary Hope. The town there is called Christopher Creek. The cabin and some of the property is now owned by my cousin's cousin. Their family bought it in 1937. It is right next to a flowing creek (a rarity in Arizona) and is a very beautiful ranch.
Here is a picture I took of the cabin:
When the raiding party left they wound up getting in a big battle with the calvary which did not turn out well for the Indians. It was considered the last major battle in the area and pretty much ended the hostilities in the area. It was called the Battle of Big Dry wash. Here is a link to that story.

Indians being wolves isn't a bad thing in my book... just mentally I can picture it a lot easier than I can Garth Brooks trying to commune with one.
Well, lookie here... I went to google to try and find a picture of a wolf in a cowboy hat I could post... maybe get the mental image right? Tried wolf in hat... that didn't work, so tried wolf in stetson... hmmm.... never heard of Jon Wolfe but he sorta reminds me of George Straight...
So there you go... Wolfe in a Stetson...
Fractions are romantic.

Bo, you have so much intersting trivia about the cabin, etc. Thanks for sharing and it looks like they have placed wire around the bushes to ward off pruning by the wild life. Yes Piney, I think your wolf in a stetson does resemble George Strait who I think is one of the really pleasing men of country music. I mean I like the outlaws too, but George is just nice and mellow on the eyes, as well as the ears.
Looks like we are still stalled out. Guess we need to go beat the bushes again.
The sound of the wild, but if there is no one there, does anyone hear their howls?

Yes V, the wire is to keep the deer off the apple trees they just replanted. That morning they had deer and wild turkey on the property. They grew corn and apples on the ranch and had an iron apple press next to a walnut tree. It was used for cider and applesauce. The tree had almost completly overgrown the apple press. They won't admit it, but I think they were in the moonshine business for awhile. There was a still found near the ranch, but nobody was there when it was found. They called it Payson Dew. People supposedly drove from out of state to buy it.
Check out the old apple press by the garage/barn next to the cabin:
