Anglo was a human
"After scouring the area near the camp, Anglo was the first to spot them, there were tracks leading into the denser part of the woods, it must be the cowboys, no one else wonders near hear he thought, and that was the last thing he thought, with one loud BANG! a single shot was fired, looking around for help, he fell to the ground, he was dead before he hit the ground, shot straight through the heart.
Cab having seen it all, ran for help, but after a few meters she felt severe pain in her left leg, when she looked down, she noticed the bullet wound, determined to go and warn the others, she battled through the pain and started to limp away, although a minute later there was another loud BANG! cab collapsed under the unbearable pain, with both legs shot, there was nothing else the could do, she was a sitting duck in the the middle of the forest. She managed to roll onto her back, only to see the three cowboys standing over her, smiling evilly, one of them raised their gun, teasingly, after a minute, one final shot was heard, cab, had drew her last breath, and the once small settlement was under serious threat of being wiped off the face of the earth forever.
By the time the indians got there, there was nothing they could do, suddenly the indians noticed some rustling in the bushes, the indians cautiously approached the bushes, hoping to catch one of the cowboys off guard. It was a matter of life and death, and the indians were here first, it was their home and it's the only one they ever had, even if it meant fighting to the death for it, though deep down the indians knew that the cowboys had the advantage."

Wonder whether Anglo was a wolf? I think night timed out again, but I'm not sure.
Got here 2 minutes late.
Got here 2 minutes late.
I'd say yes, since the round started at 9:10 (it's 9:16 and the round is 6 minutes in), and scrub's last post was at 9: 08.

This doesn't for sure mean either Jayo or Longhorn_fan is a wolf, but I do think it's interesting to note. Also, caberet was eaten, but caberet has also not logged in for 2 days. I think if the wolves were going to try to frame someone who hasn't been on in a while, they wouldn't eat one of those people (instead leaving jayo, longhorn, and caberet for us to have to pick from 3 people).
As of right now, I'm leaning toward Jayo or longhorn, but I'm open to other ideas. Thoughts?

I have been waiting for the beginning of the round. David - I can tell you that Cab, Jayo and LF have not logged in all night(two days ago). And yes, I agree that it logged out.

I'm also curious why Cab was eaten, but I'm more interested in learning the identity of AngloSaxon70, I hope Stewie has been watching the game as well so we don't have to wait for the answer. I'll be back.

I think I want to wait for Stewie as well before I vote. My question is how many cowboys are left. If there are two, then only one voted because the other let night time out. If there are three, then one or two voted. I think this will change my thinking significantly as far as framing a player versus just hiding behind inactive players.
I guess I am saying this:
If there are two cowboyss, then I agree the vote indicates a frame job.
If there are three cowboys, I don't think I could conclude a frame job. It is just the the cowboys are using the inactive indians.
My first instinct, however, is Jayo. There is something about his posts that seem wrong to me.
Hi, Bobbi. I saw that you were checking in for the end of night. I bet you were surprised to see three more of us! I know I was.

The fact that Anglo was human means we still have 3 wolves left, which like scrub said, makes me think this was not a frame job. If it is a frame job, it makes no sense for caberet to have been eaten, since the people being framed has dwindled from 3 to 2.
I'm going to look back over the rounds, but for now I feel like I'm deciding between Jayo and longhorn.

I agree with you about Jayo sounding slightly off.
Does anyone know what his votes have been for the last few rounds?
I guess we forgot to keep track. Darn it.

I am not crazy about keeping inactives in the game, but its hard to say they are wolves... because if they are both humans, the wolves would love for us to just go after them. The fact that Caberet had not been on for 2 days also, makes me wonder if we have wolves who were not really looking at that fact.
I will be around today... got a bad back and in some pain. But I think I can still think my way through this day.

I too am confused as to why cab was eaten. Before I went to bed last night I looked at everyone's log in times and saw cab, longhorn, and jayo had not logged in at all during the night round (as previously stated by others).
I'm not sure if that means that one of them is necessarily a wolf, but I wouldn't be surprised if one wolf purposely did not vote in order to keep some people from being cleared. Going after jayo or longhorn may be smart this round but it's hard to decide if getting another inactive out is really the best move now on round 3. My gut is telling me not to go for one of them and go for someone who is more active. I have a small suspicion of scrub but I'm not exactly sure why. It could be for the fact that you seem to be acting the exact same to me as last game when you were a wolf, but I don't know for sure.
I'll be back later when hopefully more people have posted.

Okay, so Anglo was human, I guess that explains his strange behavior, but he sure wasn't a very helpful Indian.
Jayo only posted once, and voted random and offered no thoughts or ideas, so unlike him. I was also looking at Cab and LH's back and forth exchange, could be something there. I'm going to hold off voting until (hopefully) everyone else comes on and posts. I do hope activity picks up, it's hard to come to any conclusions without activity.

Downside....Anglo was human. Upside, at least we kept helpful players. Glad to see that the more active players are still here.
Anyway....busy day today, we are going to watch the UFC PPV that we recorded last night. I will try to get back on later and offer some helpful discussion. But I did want to pop by and see how things were going today.
At this time, I have no idea who I am going to vote for, and I am interested in hearing what everyone else thinks.
I will probably have time later this evening to check back. Everyone enjoy your Sunday!
Oh- and party at my place.... we have fresh deer meat, berries, and fish. Can someone bring the sweets and something good to drink?????

Thought:
In reading the last round, Caberet thought LH seemed wolffish. Then he ends up dead....then wolf round times out, and LH hasn't been on in two days. Might explain the reason the wolves ate Caberet, he identified one of them.
What do you guys think? I am going to hold off on a vote.
Jayo is voting Scrubb out of retaliation I think......not what we need, it's round three and no solid leads. Right now I am leaning towards a LH or Jayo vote. LH for stated reasons, and Jayo because he seems to be voting out of retaliation, unless I missed something and he has a good reason to think Scrubb.
Ideas?

I'm also not really sure who to go for this round. I have a feeling the long weekend probably has something to do with Jayo and LH not being on for two days as both are normally active and helpful (and the same goes for Cab). The night timing out twice is a little frustrating, though for me that's mostly because we probably only have a few days of internet coverage left and I want to be able to remain active for the rest of this game since it will likely be my last for a little while.
Since we don't have a Seer to protect I'm going to hold off on voting just yet. I'm leaning slightly more toward Longhorn at this point, but it's just a vague feeling that I don't feel comfortable following yet without more to go on. I know this is a holiday weekend, but hopefully there will be more conversation to go off of before too long.
And Buttons, count me in for the party! I'll bring dessert!

I have few clues...
I voted for Anglo for being inactive and I am willing to vote for Longhorn this time for the same reason. Sadly, this weekend is a holiday weekend, and though we had our family fun yesterday... I am just tired and enjoying a casual day of watching TV and car racing.
A vote for LH is on its way... subject to change.

I'm going with GA for now. Even though he has been on today, he was extremely active last round and not at all this round, which strikes me as slightly suspicious.

I've been thinking about the round timing out quite a bit and I actually got it backward before. Let me explain my logic.
So, we have three wolves: A, B, and C. Let's say A and B voted (it might be only A voted...the logic still applies, just go with it). A and B voted earlier in the night round, not bothering to check which players had not logged on for a day or two. A and/or B voted for caberet.
C did not vote. It is easily possible that C is inactive. It is also possible, however, that C checked the players which had logged on and saw that three players (jayo, longhorn, and caberet) had not been on in two days. Not wanting to clear three players, C held off on their vote. If C deliberately did not vote, C had no knowledge that caberet was going to be eaten and potentially foil the frame job, as C didn't know what A and B had done.
Thus, caberet being eaten should not have any bearing on our thoughts that this could be a frame-up job. I don't even think it is as much a frame-up job as a "I don't want to clear three players, so I'm not going to vote" job.

Jayo - I first noticed when you cast a second SPV vote on Snowmonster. Then you said something I don't understand "pfft" about her being eaten? Finally, you left your ?random? vote. Who does that after the first round? I don't think any vote is random after the first round. Just the suggestion your vote was random seems off. Now why are you suspicious of David?

I am listening to ideas, as I am not sold that I am correct. I may be OVERthinking this, but I don't think LF is a cowboy. I think the cowboys want us to think she is because of cab. Let's say that only two cowboys voted. One of them could have been for Cab to set up LF, and the other for someone else. At this point the computer is 50-50 on the two.

Jayo, you usually have pretty solid reasons for your vote, so your lack of reasoning for your vote for Scrub and your saying you'd "settle" for voting for him even though you say David is your number one suspect, is really confusing me. If you suspect David, what makes you suspicious of him and more importantly, why not vote for him?
Meanwhile, I totally agree with Randy that inactive LH is probably a good choice for the time being, but if she reappears before the round ends with an excuse, I'll definitely reconsider. Most likely it is the holiday weekend that is the reason, but the rest of us have managed to log in with at least one comment.

Sorry for the long delay between posts! A good friend from college who currently lives across the country called, so we were busy catching up. (I'm only a year out of college, for the record)
As discussed in my logic above, I'm not entirely convinced that our wolf was actually inactive. I don't like inactives, but I'm also hesitant to use another round to shoot one, as we only have room for two more errors.
After reading through the previous rounds, I'm actually quite perplexed. One of the most troubling things is that we still have three wolves, who are likely supporting each other, or at the very least not directly contradicting each other. It's hard to establish a true group consensus when more than a quarter of the players are conspiring. I'm trying to find the right triad, but so far I'm coming up short.
As of now, I think jayo is peaking my radar. I hesitate to say it, but...Jayo, if you find me suspicious, why wouldn't you vote for me? (for the record, I'm not asking any of you to vote for me ). The "settling" for scrub seems off to me, but I'm not entirely sure it is wolfish behavior. I've never played with you before, but it seems more like just misdirected emotion than true wolfish behavior. But, I could easily be wrong. For those of you who have played with jayo before, how is his behavior compared to past games?
As for longhorn, I'm not entirely convinced. Quotes from last round:
Longhorn wrote:
Longhorn wrote:
To me, these sound genuine. There wouldn't have been a good reason for longhorn to switch her vote, as she could have claimed that ppjones was still inactive. Switching it later so she could claim her innocence later seems like a bit of a stretch, but I have heard of longer cons on the part of wolves, especially in games in which roles are revealed the next round.
Essentially, I'm very confused. I'm interested to see what other people have to say, since I have a feeling at least one wolf is active today and steering us astray. Thoughts?

My vote for Scrub was part retaliation yes, and part frustration from recent games where the same sort of ambiguous things were said about my posts in games where I was human and there was NOTHING wrong with what I had posted!
It's the same in this game, nothing can be wolfish about my posts cos I ain't got fur
Rant over
The wolves wouldn't be too concerned at this stage I wouldn't think, nobody seems to have any real suspicions and to be honest I think the wolves are letting night time out intentionally which is really lame. Really, really lame.

Jayo, David and Soccerguy only had immunity for two rounds... they are free game now.
Ok David, you convinced me that a vote for LH is not a good thing - that's sound thinking, at least towards her.
I admit, part of me is leaning towards Shrubs and Bradon... only because I saw how they played in the reunion game and there does seem to be similiarities.
So no one signs on and sees a vote on someone who probably is not a wolf and decides to jump on it, I will change my vote to Bradon. It also can be changed, but I have to see a reason to do so.
When you Love someone, Love them with all your heart as you never know what can happen today!

Sorry GA, changing my vote to a random vote for an inactive, as I can't take it back.
I forgot you live in NZ, so I thought it was weird that you ahd been on and had not checked on the game, but really the round hadn't ended yet. Sorry.
EDIT: As all the inactives have logged in today, fetching a random vote for Longhornfan. I will try to be on again before the round ends tomorrow morning.

Okay, so I logged on to see how things were going before I headed off to bed, and see what everyone thought about things. Here is what I think, for whatever that is worth....
1. I think David is right when he says that the wolves INTENTIONALLY let the round time out in order to either AVOID the clearing of players, or in a weak attempt at implicating LH. Either way, Davids thoughts make sense to me at least for now.
2. Jayo said something that peaked my interest .. `My vote for Scrub was part retaliation, yes and part frustration from recent games where the same sort of ambiguous things were said about my posts in games where I was human and there was nothing wrong with anything I posted.`
What interested me about this post was that Jayo said.....where he was human......did he accidentally implicate himself?? Plus the 'settling' for a Scrub vote.....why settle? If you believe someone is wolfie we need to vote with them.
3. Apples, sorry we forgot about your time zone difference.....I know I forgot.
All in all, I don't know who to vote for. I would lean towards a Jayo vote at this point, however like David I am not sure if my reasons for thinking him is just because his playing style is different that I am used to. If this is the case I certainly don't want to single him out for it, and lose another human player.
If we could get a wolf this round, then figure out who has been backing who up, we may be able to get a handle on the situation. For right now, I feel like its the wolf's game to lose, and if we don't come up with an idea fairly quickly we will lose another round. I am going to wait on my vote and check again when I get up in the morning to see if you guys have any thoughts. I am throwing mine out hoping that something I say helps someone else figure out what is going on.
Before I go, I had one other thought....it bothers me that Juice is logging a vote for someone we are all fairly sure, at least at this point is human. So I guess I am interested in what you guys think about Juice and Jayo. At this point I would lean more towards Juice, just because I am not sure about Jayo's playing style.
Teddy......welcome to the party!! I hope your internet works long enouggh for you to enjoy!! We will miss you while your gone, I have loved playing games with you.
Everyone else....happy memorial day. Thank you to any of you guys who have served, or have loved ones who serve. Thank you is not nearly enough for the price that has been paid so me, and others like me can be free.

The nights timing out is really lame. However, the fact that an inactive was eaten, makes me think that all the wolves are active - why eat an inactive if you're timing the night out to frame an inactive?
So right now I'm not feeling a Jayo or Longhorn vote, but I'm actually looking more at HiImDavid. Something about his posts seems artificial... I can't really put my finger on what, but maybe it's just the general manner and tone in which he is writing in that just bugs me.
I'm logging a vote in for HiImDavid and I'll be on and off for a while!

Ooh logging on and seeing 4 people voting for 4 different people definitely does not sit well with me. Last game I tried to get people to stop spreading out their votes in the later rounds because now seeing the results, it is obvious that the wolves greatly benefited from the humans never truly agreeing on anyone until only hours before the round ended.
Reading through this round I am honestly at a complete loss. This game seems just as difficult as the last one, maybe taking a two and a half year break on these games was harder than I thought? I don't know.
My thoughts on why the round timed out are that at least one of the wolves was smart enough to hold off until everyone logged on (which ended up never happening, causing them to make the night time out again). Although, of course the alternative is possible and Longhorn or Jayo truly just could not get on in time and caused the full 24 hours. Caberet being eaten definitely does cause a lot of confusion because several scenarios are possible. If the wolves who did vote did not look at the log in times I have to question why cab was eaten. I reread over her posts last round and nothing really stuck out at me. She posted right at the beginning and blatantly voted for longhorn and never came back in the round. Obviously longhorn never came on to vote even if she is a wolf but maybe her fellow wolves were scared for her? Seems unlikely.
I want to double a vote on someone who already has one because I don't want to contribute to spreading them out even more, but I am not sure who that should be on. Something about teddy this round actually struck me as a little wolfish, nothing specific just her post seemed a bit off to me. Of course she doesn't have a vote yet though and the 4 who have votes are not people I want to go after this round...hmm. I think I am going to let my mind think a little bit more before bed and come back in a couple of hours to vote. Maybe a few will post by then and help my decision?
I don't know my mind is a little clouded right now and don't think voting at this moment is the smartest decision.

EDIT: I simulposted with Stephen/soccer. My post is in response to GA's post, and doesn't take into account his thoughts. I'm too tired to edit my post and respond to his thoughts. I've read it, and they seem reasonable to me, but not enough to sway me at this time. [/edit]
GA, we haven't played a game together (at least not since I came back from a 2+ year hiatus), so I understand if my posts seem forced/artificial to you. It's my style of play. Not much to defend on that front.
As for my thoughts, I am confused. As I stated above, I trust longhorn. The defense in round two seemed plausible for switching away from ppjones in round one, and it seems like too much of a long con to pull off.
I also trust GA. Can't put my finger on it, but the Round Two posts are giving off a human vibe to me. His anger at me not voting last round seemed genuine, something I wouldn't expect from a wolf.
Baby seems to be playing the same game as last time. I was only in for two rounds, but her gameplay seems consistent. I'm not entirely convinced, but for now I think there are bigger targets.
Randy seems to be flying a bit under the radar. I haven't played a game with him in over two years, but I remember him being more active. I agree with him that scrub and bradon seem suspicious, though, which makes me trust him at least a little.
For now, I'm torn between scrub and bradon. Scrub seems to be playing the exact same game as last time, when scrub was a wolf. Scrub had me fooled then, but I'm not so sure now. At the end of round two, Scrub said he had some names in mind, but he would wait to reveal them. Round Three has come, but scrub has really only thrown out the name of jayo. That to be seems suspicious, and the general tone of scrub's posts seems in line with last game.
Bradon also seems to be peaking my radar. Bradon hasn't contributed a whole lot to the game theory-wise (post-wise yes, but some of the posts have been contributing to the story-side of the game instead of ideas about wolves). The theory that LH should be shot this round just for being inactive doesn't seem to be the best idea this late in the game...we only have two more false steps until game over. While I'd like the inactives to be gone as much as the next guy, we can't have the sole reason in Round Three be they are inactive.
I know it's not a lot to go on, but I'm honestly at a loss. I can't come up with a triad I like, but bradon seems the most suspicious to be at this point.
I'm heading to bed, and I won't be on before the round ends. For now, I'm going to vote for bradon. I know this is doubling up, but I feel more secure with 2 votes for bradon then 2 votes for scrub.
That's all from me. Hope to see you guys Round Four.

Alright, coming back and seeing that only David has posted really does not help much. I don't know how many people will log on by the time this round ends but because we have no seer and because the votes are so spread out I am not going to vote this round.
I'll catch up on what everyone else's thoughts are when I wake up in the morning during night time. I guess good luck to whoever is shot since it seems to be up in the air right now.

It's insane that just because the Seer has died, everyone just turns off their lights and slinks into their shell and goes to bed! This is round three! Next round there will only be 9 people left, and chances are three wolves!
I don't disagree with a bradon182001 vote at all, and we really need to actually form a substantial majority as humans, if we want to have any shot at overcoming the wolves. So that's where my vote is going. Very uneventful and lackluster round...

I totally understand the logic behind encouraging people to get behind a vote so the wolves can't sway it, but going through the rounds I don't really see anything to implicate Bobbi as a likely wolf. The problem is no one really sticks out much to me again this game. A few people have said something that made me look twice, but Bobbi wasn't one of them yet. Of those with votes already I'm going back and forth between Scrub and Longhorn, and still leaning more toward Longhorn. But if I put someone else in a majority and they aren't a wolf, then I realize that makes it easier for the wolves to come on and sway the vote.
I'm really exhausted right now and need to go to bed. I don't want to spread the vote out further, yet I also don't feel right about not voting at all or joining a majority that I don't fully agree with. For now I'm going to have to go with someone without a vote yet just to make it harder for the wolves to sway the vote if Bobbi is actually a wolf. At this point she really doesn't stick out to me, but I know I could easily be wrong.
Voting Randy this round, partly because of a vague suspicion I can't fully put my finger on, and partly just because he doesn't have a vote yet.

It's not that I suspected bradon182001, it's more that I feel the humans will benefit much more by forming a majority on someone, and I didn't see anything strikingly human about Bobbi's posts, and to be honest, I usually find human tells, even in posts by wolves, so for me it was enough to go on. People need to be voting so we get a clearer idea of everyone's actions throughout the game... right now it just feels like I'm forcing people to vote.
EDIT: I saw Bobbi come on about 10 minutes ago, and so delayed going to bed to see what her defense was so I could decide whether to keep my vote or not, but unfortunately she's yet to post and I really need to sleep, so sorry Bobbi but it's too late to change my mind! Night all!

Whoa!! Randy's vote on me makes absolutely no sense. I always play the way I play, so similiarities in my playing is a good reason to shoot me? I honestly feel we should be looking at those who are not playing their normal game. I was very happy to see that LH finally showed up and posted, but I was really hoping for a reason for her inactivity to rule her out as our inactive wolf. Since she offered no reason, and hasn't come back or even voted, which is totally not like her, she is the one we should be targeting.
Edit to add: Sorry I didn't post fast enough for you to see I am here, GA. I didn't realize there was any time limits. lol

I am switching my vote to Teddy, as Bradon already has 3 votes and will likely be shot. It doesn't really matter at this point, I guess.
I also have a small suspicion towards her for saying she thinks Bradon is human and doesn't give a reason, yet the rest of the group disagrees. If Bradon turns out a wolf, the teddy is probably a wolf as well.
I may have some (or all) faulty logic, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

But Jayo, why are you suspicious of David? I don't see it in his play. You say that you don't like it when people just say "his game is off" without any justification, but that is exactly what you are doing to David. You asked me to explain what in your play made me suspicious - and I did. You have not answered any of that.
David - As far as names, my most likely suspect still has not answered a single statement. My number one suspect before Jayo going into this round was Babyjuice. I thought her jumping on both votes so early made her a little suspicious just like I thought Jayo joining my SPV vote made him suspicious. I watched logons for the last 90 minutes of the night, hoping a cowboy would come on and finish the vote. When I saw others doing the same, their play became a little less suspicious to me - including Babyjuice.
I was hoping Jayo would give me something more concrete to go on, but he has not. So my vote will go there. Even though it appears that it will not matter. I think the most likely scenario is that one of the inactives caused night to time out after the first two wolves voted, and as I said earlier I don't believe it is LF. If everyone want to chase the active wolves, then go ahead. As far as my play is concerned, I like to hunt - and I get a little more aggressive in the middle rounds once I see connections. Tends to get me shot, so I am used to it. At least the conversation helps me to draw out potential cowboys.
As far as the party is concerned, i traded some fox pelts at the trading post for some mead. I think I will come join the pow-wow tonight, and bring my mead.

With 58 minutes left in the round, I have to log a vote. I am going to go with Jayo for previously stated reasons as well as his going after David. David seems human to me, and he is working hard at trying to help us figure out what is going on.....Jayo is going after him, without very good justification. Between my other reasons, and this one, I am going to vote Jayo.
