The Werewolf Game
Game #2869: Werewolf Saga, ACT I
This game is moderated by jpost. Please read the rules and contact the moderator with any questions or concerns about this game.
This game finished in 6 rounds.
Now I see how this works. As I said, this is my first time hosting and always wondered how the moderator could take over the first spot, which is usually reserved RFM by kind players. For those that don't know, I can edit any post. Enough of that, though.
For those that have not given a game name yet, I will have to refer to you by your Braingle monitor. I will maintain the list of people's game names on this post for those that need to refer back to it.

SPV for now, will check back later.
I will vote to help the seer as well.
I'm on Braingle far too long, I stay on the computer from dusk to dawn. Playing games and chatting with friends, the novelity of it never ends.

I will everybody today to sign in and give me a game name. After that, I will assign a name to each. Nothing drastic, just a derivation of your braingle name. But I thought each of you would like your own input for this short game. If the Day ends before tomorrow, I might have to do that anyway so I can tell the story as I see it.

Okay, so we've begun. Good deal. I see that 3 people have voted but no one has discussed why they picked iilov. I'm going to wait a little while before I vote. We've still got a while before the day is over.

Yeah, I don't understand why they picked that person so I'll wait also - we have no clues to follow in any case.
I just voted randomly--4wheels followed suit I guess. Will change.
I see that asteroid casted a silent vote, which I have no tolerance for. Braingle01 is no suprise, he/she must not know about the 'discussion'. LOL, probably to lazy to. Voting 4wheels for the majority starter.
@jpost-I'm too lazy to pick, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you make of 'JJPutz'. Just not Putz. Maybe just JJ.

I am probably going to vote for either asteroidbelt or braingle01 since they voted silently, which seems both careless and a little suspicious. So just to be clear - in this game, whoever gets the majority vote during the day gets shot with the silver bullet, even if they are really human? So is it a good idea to try and get a majority on someone or not, if we have no clue whether or not we're actually right? (I'll wait for a reply to this question before placing my vote; if a majority is good, I may join the majority on 4wheels or iiLov. Thanks!)
Also, I too am not creative enough to think of a name I like. My username is kinda caveman-ish anyway!

So you are going to make me do all the work, eh? ok, but you might not like the result. But then again, this game should not last long anyway.
Because of your icon, Putz, you will be the firemaker of the group.

I just checked and astroidbelt has only played one wwg. The silent vote might be due to his newness to the game. As for Braingle01, it says she has played like a hundred and eighty some games. So why no post? I'm voting for braingle01.

It may not mean that she is a werewolf, but it sounds like a reasonable annoyance anyway (if she does get shot and isn't a werewolf, at least we'd be rid of an inactive player!), so I'll join you!
Tog had been assigned to as watch last night by Kal, tribe leader. He was a bear of a man and knew it. To everyone else, with the exception of Kal, he was the bully of the group. Kal, while not as large as Tog, was a better hunter and fighter, besting Tog on several occasions. To Kal, Tog was important as a defender of the tribe. Whenever any person from a nearby tribe came into their territory, one look at Tog and they quickly ran away.
So, when Tog was missing this morning, Kal was the only one concerned. Most of the tribe thought he saw his chance to leave for other places, something he was always threatening to do. "Well, good riddance to him," said Vreg. "Me and my brother Treg are strong and can defend our tribe just as well as that blowhard." (Story note: Since most of their language really consists of growls and grunts, I am taking the literary liberty of translating the "conversations" they had into something more understandable to the players of the game.)
But, it was Kara on her way to check on the few plants they were experimenting in growing (the idea of farming is just catching on) who discovered the body. Tog may have looked huge alive, but so much of him was gone now, he looked smaller, more like Muta's size. In fact, the only way to know it was Tog and not some wanderer who ran afoul of their guard wolves was the distinctive lionskin he wore. Lions were rarely seen in the tribe territory, but they were known by reputation. Tog and Kal were out hunting one day many winters ago when they came across a lion obviously weakened by hunger and desperate to find food that he had wandered into the tribe territory. Tog wanted the skin for himself and to appease him, Kal helped him kill the lion and drag it back to the cave, where Gut skinned the lion and fashioned the skin into garments for Tog. It was these garments which identified him now.
Kal thought back to that time and others when Tog did actually take on wild animals on his own and survived. So he knew that what happened here was no random wolf attack. Tog could have easily fended off a lone wolf. If it had been a wolfpack, there wouldn't be this much left of him. No, this was a different type of attack, one more personal. Of course, no human could ever make the wounds that Tog had, but maybe one or two wolves that Tog would not expect. Kal called Sul, the wolf tamer, who was in charge of the domesticated wolves kept for the tribe. Sul said that the wolves were hungry for their morning feeding as usual. No, none of them seemed to have already eaten.
That evening, Kal convened the tribe. "I know most of you did not like Tog, but he was still a member of the tribe. His loss affects us all."
Dork, the firemaker, said:"He's gone now, We can move forward. We still have our two young men, Vreg and Treg, to hunt for us. The other men in the tribe can stand up to whatever else the neighboring tribes can throw at us. Yes, I say let's forget about it and move on."
Kal remarked: "No, we can't just move on. I believe that someone in our tribe has secretly tamed and trained wolves to hunt for him, or in this case, to attack one of our own. We cannot have division in our tribe or it will destroy us more thoroughly than anything the South tribe can do against us. We must figure out who this person and get rid of him (or her) tonight."

That's the story, people. Not as embellished as I would like, but then again these characters are not going to be around for long anyway. It is now up to you to determine how this conversation and decision goes.
By the way, I know that I have Kal, the hero of the story so far. But I don't want you to automatically dismiss him as a wolf. I chose him as leader because none of you had voted for him yet and seemed to be confident about him. Therefore, I hope this comment does not help to determine his guilt or innocence. It shouldn't.
