Welcome to my First Werewolf Game in a Really Really Long Time
... So please excuse me for any mistakes that I make. It's just been a while .
In the game of Trust Nothing and No One (A.k.a. Trickster Roles Game) there will be three new roles, assigned to the three werewolves. Each role will give the werewolves power that can help them thwart any attempts made to kill them. These roles are as follows:
1. Mind Controller (MC)
The MC is able to change up to four posts made by humans per game to make the human seem more suspicious to others. They can tell me what to change through a pm. Then, I will personally change the post of their choice to whatever they please.
NOTE: IF YOUR POST WAS EDITED, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TELL OTHERS ABOUT IT. YOU MUST STAY SILENT. Sorry.
Suggestions Against This Role:
-Pay attention to edited posts. Also, to avoid confusion, edit your posts as little as possible, and while doing so, add "EDIT:" followed by what's been edited.
-Keep in mind the posts that you've already seen. If they suddenly change, well, that's probably a MC.
Suggestions For This Role:
-Ask me to edit soon after a post has been made. Even better, ask me to change it while I'm online, so I can do it immediately. This is so people have a less likely chance of seeing the post before it changes.
-Obviously, try to not come forth to me with "Change username's post to "Not a werewolf at all guys. Don't worry one bit about me. Hah. Hah."" Nearly no one would truly do that. Unless they're messing around, of course.
2. Shape Shifter (SS)
The Shape Shifter, when killed, can pm me the name of another role, or pm "human", and in the night (or morning, if the pm comes to me late) I will post "You shot the (insert pm'd name here)!". This way, people will be tricked into thinking that they shot a human, or another type of werewolf. The pm to me must be made in the night, or the day preceding the night if you fear you'll be shot. If I am pm'd in the next game day after you were killed, or not pm'd at all, I will simply post that the SS was shot.
Suggestions Against This Role:
-Well, as the description says, you simply can never be too sure if you really shot the person that I've said you've shot. Also keep in mind that this applies to other werewolf roles as well. You really might not have killed that MC. It could have been a Shape Shifter.
Suggestions For This Role:
-Take advantage of the fact that you can pose as other werewolves. If I say the MC has been shot, then no one will be on the lookout for suspicious postings, which will play in the favor of the actual MC.
-Try to post to me a role as soon as possible. It can look suspicious if I post that you died in the morning, especially if others know that I've been active during the night and could have easily posted the shooting results then. (Sorry about you wolves having to work with my Braingle schedule. Please just take it as an extra challenge on your part.)
3. Master of the Master (MM)
Wow, this is really terrifying for me. I'm not even kidding. This is because for one, - just one, precious time, this person is allowed to make me change my own post to whatever he or she pleases. It can be as obvious as the person making me say "HAHA, NO CLUE TODAY, I DELETED IT", or as inconspicuous as changing the actual clue to a meaningless set of letters that people will try to decipher without knowing that it's true secret was that it's really a series of keys typed out by the repeated random mashing of your keyboard.
NOTE: The MM cannot make me change the "You shot the ..." posts.
Suggestions Against This Role:
-Chances are, there's going to be one clue somewhere in the game that's been tampered with. If you have a lot of trouble with a certain clue, just leave it be.
-Random series of numbers as a clue are usually the sign of a code needing to be deciphered, or an uncreative MM. However, because I'm pointing this out, the MM of this game will most likely try to be a bit more creative, and think up of a complicated goofy riddle to mind-boggle you guys instead. Hopefully.
Suggestions For This Role:
-It's best not to have me delete the clue. Change it, so people spend time trying to figure it out.
-Even better, perhaps it can have an answer to it? I won't give a direct tip here. Be creative with how you make the new clue.
Speaking of clues...
Clue Schedule:
Round 1: Hard WW Clue
Round 2: Medium Clear Clue
Round 3: Medium Clear Clue
Round 4: Medium WW Clue
Round 5: Easy Clear Clue
Round 6: Medium WW Clue
Round 7: Easy Clear Clue
Round 8: Medium Clear Clue
Round 9: Hard WW Clue
Round 10: None
I will post the name and correct role (most of the time) of who was killed.
Good luck!

We all change when you think about it. We are different people all throughout our lives. And that's okay, that's good. So long as you keep moving and remember who you used to be.

Signed up... Looking forward to it... Seems like there's a lot more going on to this one than when I played a long long time ago... Sounds like fun!

Looking forward to this game, looks like fun. But I have question will there also be extra roles for the humans too?

I want to say like 2009... lol... Haven't been on Braingle for a long time (at least 2009 was my last chess game)... So it's been a while since I've been on the site...
The description for the game seemed much more involved then the last time I played... But still, sounds like it'll be interesting...

Not this time around. I did create a game a few years back where everyone was special in some way. - It kind of got confusing though . I might add one role for the humans next game I create, but I really don't want to add more than that. Making the superpowers 50/50 could make those who don't get powers feel kind of unlucky . I'm not sure I want to do an all superpowers game again, either. Although, I suppose I could if people started asking me to.
