*dies* THAT WAS SOOOOO PAINFUL. Sorry tukus, I am stealing your post, I will type it correctly in a moment...
RFM
*DIES EPILEPTICALLY*
Okay, I guess I don't need to RFM this after all. First of all, thank you for the game tukus, I loved working through the ciphers they were a lot of fun and added a lot of interesting things to the game, though... I would have much preferred being alive a little longer xD
I have to agree with Witty, the votes may well have fallen in your favour if you had not attacked the mod repeatedly, jpost. Tukus was not trying to make any kind of point or political statement, she was trying to give us something fun to do. I know ciphers are not everyone's piece of cake, I get it, but the reality is the ciphers weren't all that complicated for those who enjoy doing them, they were pretty straightforward examples of their kind. She was intentionally easing up on them to try to make the game more fun, it's pretty hard to gauge the difficulty of a cipher... Seriously, have you tried to make one? They take a fair bit of effort to put together, one took her two hours to write... I mean, really, you have to attack them?
Can't we just have fun? If you're not the ciphering type, you don't have to work on them, play the normal psych games of a normal game and have fun, that's why we are here right?
Sorry if that was a bit of a rant, but, we're all just here to have fun! There is enough negativity in the world around us.
Thanks again tukus, and fun game all of you, even if I am not likely to forgive nicats and innovative any time soon.
After all I did to support you and not eat you last game because of your comment about being eaten in the first round, you eat me in the first round in return, nicats? I am disappointed And in a 2 day long day game, no less

Ohmygoodness, Nicats. I was just sitting here saying to myself, "Just vote! Vote!" Way to make me sweat a bit.
Close game. I had no idea the seer was still in until just last round. I had my suspicions earlier on that jpost was the seer, but he gave no guidance at all. As you can see, I voted for jpost several nights as my first choice, but that was more because his posts were coming across rather rude. Tuku did a great job with the ciphers, jpost, and had you not complained so much about it, I bet you could've gotten more people to side with you. In future games, I suggest you be a bit more respectful in your communications.
Great game, though. I was surprised that none of us spies were discovered earlier in the game

LOL I actually just woke up. Had a convo with my daughter about life stuff and hit the computer. I was thinking hopefully we can get everyone on the jpost boat. Sorry to make you sweat. LOL

That was an awesome game! Wish I'd been in for the last round, though, from what I can see it was pretty intense. It was still fun to watch, lol.
I hope we get the answers to the ciphers, though. Those were tricky.

It is far too hard to write anything useful on Braingle as it either decides I have gone over 50 letter words when I haven't or am using too many smileys...
Here are the cipher answers I have so far...

Fun game!!!! It was sooo painful when I got voted off, though, because I had a feeling that your time was very short there. I had a lot of fun, but some of the ciphers were soooooooooo confusing. Props for the wolves, especially witty, you had me totally fooled! Great game Tuku!!!

Nice, Limerick! I wish I could solve ciphers this well.
Thank you, Limerick, for the insight. I was thinking about the Shakespeare comedy but didn't have a copy of it and so never checked. As for the rest, ouch.
Now I wish I really had been there for the vote for the fourth round and cleared mocha. It was a nice bluff you pulled, Innovative, in voting for your fellow wolves. It put me off for a long time. Nicats was still low on my radar, but with mocha cleared, she would have been the last choice. Plus, I could have pled my case to mocha instead of to nicats.
I hate it when I am right but nobody will believe me. It happens more often than I care to admit. If Elios had been able to stay on, she would have vouched for me, I'm sure. Nice job, guys.
And, tuku, I know you spent long hours on those ciphers. It could easily be seen the amount of work needed to just copy them. I was simply lamenting the fact that all that hard work would go unappreciated. But Limerick helped with that.

Good game, ya'll!
Thanks Limerick, for posting most of the answers to the ciphers... I feel like I was close on a few... Just never took it far enough to get to the final answer (on the Greek Gods, when I looked them up, I ended up with 3 missing Gods, instead of just the 1 you listed)...
It was challenging, but interesting...
Five-by-Five...

You ended up missing Hephaestus, Hestia, and Hades, right? Or Dionysus and Hephaestus. I simply typed the 11 names that tuku posted into Google and found it; one of only two that I managed to solve.
tuku, your ciphers were first-rate. I've never been great at them, though it turns out I had already solved the second one. Mocha just beat me to it, so I kept trying to look deeper into it, thinking I was short of the answer. "Okay, it's her theatre. Now what?"
At any rate, being wolf chow is no fun, and having so much to say to the players still in the game and being unable to say it is even less fun, but I have no complaints about the game itself. Thus, I rated the game highly. I just worry that poor Limerick is in poor stead in future cipher or riddle-based games.

Who all solved all the different ciphers, and what did you get? I solved the cipher in round 2 very quickly after it was posted, and I felt bad not being able to tell you that you could stop working. I was never able to figure out my clue, however. I wished that I could share it with you for help, or that I was able to solve it.

I think I found the answer for the 2nd one (or was really close)...
And then I figured out the riddle, but didn't take it another step further... So I was ok with figuring out what letters formed the riddle, just didn't get that it meant something else...
And on the Greek Gods, the Wikipedia page I found showed I was missing:
Hades
Hephaestus
Hestia
But apparently only 1 was missing...
I didn't get any of the # ciphers...
It was definitely challenging... I just never took it far enough (or didn't have a clue in some cases)... Sucks not to know if you were wrong, or if someone just beat you...
Although I'm guessing that if I had such a hard time w/the ciphers, I'd probably suck at the Clue, too... lol...
So challenging but fun game.... Definitely interesting...

I got the clue last round. The answer was just plain "Hephaestus." I had to dig around to get the right name, too, as Hestia and Hades did come up quite often in association with the others. However, Hephaestus was more prevalent in the sites I looked at. The clue I got pointed to jpost, as he was the seer.

I just found out the clue I got pointed to innovative. My clue was t.4.i.6.o.1.n.3 and it bugged me because all I could see was 613, which seemed to point to me, but I knew it was supposed to point to a wolf. 4/6/13 was the date innovative joined Braingle. Go figure.

Then why put the 0 in that spot? No one's going to ignore it for simply being a zero, and it ensures almost absolutely that you won't be able to get it. I could see the 0 preceding the 6, but not following it.
I found out even the mod would not have known I was the seer if I hadn't blabbed it to her.

El, the 0 was supposed to be an o... my typo.
