Brilliant, managed to find some time at work to get this side of the story finished.
Six months later...
Both wolves were exhausted from their travels. Having to live in secrecy whilst seeking food and calming their instinct to hunt caused tremendous stress for the wolves, more so for the larger, more alpha wolf that had the problem of dealing with the new recruit. His choice to turn a person into a wolf was both rash and rushed, but in the spur of the moment the wolf thought, after the loss of his to wolfish comrades, the plan would go well, but the new wolf was more trouble than he thought worth.
Shortly after the turn, the new recruit set into denial, fleeing the village and keeping into the woods, both terrified and confused at what he was. Followed by that were constant battles between the two wolves; any small thing such as seeing humans or even an odd look from the other wolf would set the new recruit off – there was a lot of blood during the fights, but it was always the alpha that came on top. The change also caused a lot of hassle for the old wolf; as a newly turned, each change would be painful and slow as the body adapted to the constant cracking and stretching of bones and skin.
Eventually the two made it to a town, and it was there that they decided to settle in, seeking shelter and food whilst also keeping their dark secret...
The village of Maiden Way was not very large, but had an interesting feature, it was an island surrounded by water only a mile or two out at sea, with only a wooden bridge connecting the two. Across the bridge was a short, narrow, coast-line path which acted as the road to the next major town, but it was hardly used – and a small while further from that path was a large brooding forest which would be perfect for hunting and settling their wolfish needs.
The village itself was both new and similar. Surrounding the village was water, followed by sandy banks, then a circle of trees and then the village – the island was quite large in a whole, but the village was fairly small. The similar features reminded the wolves of their last home; wooden housing surrounded the area, and as their village, Maiden Way had a small shrine that was located near the coastline of the island. The people accepted them into their village quite willfully, and they were offered food and a house to live in after a short explanation of their tiresome travels.
They continued to stay there for several weeks, dealing with each other which anger and frustration as the newly turned wolf continued to be problematic about his situation, despite the newly found village. At one night, a mention of his deceased family set the new wolf off. Rolling around on the floor, the person changed cracking and stretching, his human blood leaking onto the floor to be replaced by more wolf blood. Getting up on all fours, he rose onto his haunches and growled lowly at the older wolf that had turned quicker, and he lept.
Leaping out the way, the older wolf kept straight up and kept his tail positioned high, trying to assert dominance over the other wolf and stop his attacking, but it was no use. Whipping round, the new wolf attacked again, and in retaliation the older wolf bit back, and both raised onto their hind legs as they bashed their teeth together and each aimed to maim the other. A loud and guttural scream sounded, cutting off their attacks with each other. With a fear and speed, both quickly transformed and rushed to change into clothes.
The village was quiet, and both peered out the window to see what had happened. In the darkness of the village lay a motionless girl; a red pool surrounding the floor around her, and her leg providing the pump for the blood as the lower part was gone. Rushing out the house, the two joined the other forming villages to look down on the girl – both knew the bite marks and paw prints on the ground, and this revelation came as a shock to the two more than all the other villagers...
... There was a wolf in the village.
With shock, the villagers turned to one another, and then turned to the darkness wondering where the large dog had gone, some turning to anger and screaming into the darkness at the beast. That's when an old seer turned from the darkness, with a blue gloom in the face. He revealed the two's identity, or rather, he revealed the secret that some men and some women kept, he revealed the Lycanthropes.
This Seer was wise, and had learned much of the Lycanthropes over time, learning from other villages past experience and divination, and learning from meditation with other Seers as they peered into the misty future. These Lycanthropes could be men or women, but in the past it seemed men had taken a more dominant role. He revealed what he knew of their past;
Nothing was clear about the past of the Lycanthropes, where they came from or how they came to be; some speculated they were mauled by wolves until they became wolves themselves, others believed it was a curse set upon a family for their defiance in a village, and others even speculated that the monstrosities are a direct link between male or females lying with wolves.
Wolves had lived in the world for centuries, hiding in the dark and feasting on humans and animals alike. Their numbers have grown, but they are still not large in groups.
With what knowledge the Seer had, the villagers turned to one another. Everyone was present, and there was no way for someone to hide in or outside the island due to its size and location, so it was clear that it was one of the villagers. A claim was thrown into the air, and a defense. Soon, people began arguing among st themselves, cursing each other, but this was all quickly ceased by the Judge.
The villagers were led to the center of the town. In the center was a wooden stage where current announcements were made. The Judge stood tall among st the villagers and called for their attention. He brought out a pistol from a closed box and laid it on a stone table on top of the wooden stage. This pistol was an invention that came across from various and distant towns; it was made out of a hollow tree and used black, explosive powder to kill.
Without hesitation, the Judge announced his decision; they were to vote to kill a person every day from then on until the devil was killed. Two villagers brought the tattered body of the girl and lay it on a straw bed on the stage.
The two wolves found themselves stuck in death row once again, but with a new friend or enemy. As they were thrust into the voting, along with the other wolf, the Judge, the Acolyte, the Seer, the Lovers, the Defender and the Hunter...
Well, time to begin the game!
Special Note to Everyone:
I've decided to make this story a continuation story between games, rather than have it one village, then the next, then the next, etc. So if the wolves win, so does the wolf travelling story, if the human wins, something new will happen in my next game!
CHARACTERS HAVE BEEN SENT OUT ALREADY!
(The characters were chosen through an online randomiser incase anyone wanted to know).
Defender will be able to defend people as from round 2 - PM me this round.
Medium will also start from round 2 as there are no (in-game)dead people yet.
Happy Hunting! (Surviving for wolves!)
Talk Boxes are being set up!

Last to join, happy to be here and raring to go.
Let's have a good game, and good luck to all.
Yeah I am going to SPV for Sky, I dunno why, just a random, subject to change, maybe spark some early discussion, or hopefully ease some tension.
At the end of the day, it's all for fun, that is of course until we're done.
A poem by Stewie... Dictated but not read. Play at your own risk, just don't end up dead

I was afraid that this day would never come. Naturally, I'll start us off with an SPV for Smithy, as he is clearly a wolf.

Wahooey! This should be a fun game!
Just 3 hrs in, and lots of votes have been placed.
I'm going to vote for Spider since I think his 8 legs turn into 4 legs at night!
Edit: Oops, that puts him in an early mini-maj. I'm changing to someone without any votes yet.

I would like to stick around but I am tired, had a long hot energy sapping day and right now I need a good night 's sleep.
I will be back later in the round though, and I shall see what everyone opinion is on the situation and change my vote accordingly if needs be.
Until then, I say goodnight.

With 15 hours left- I'm gonna wait and check in tomorrow morning since nothing is going on right now.
Well, I am here, and looking forward to the game. I'll make a three way tie for the time being, but I happy to switch my vote to someone else.
Sorry, nothing to see here folks, keep moving.

switching to koin to get myself out of a majority purely out of self preservation
EDIT: just realized I made it a tie still I guess that's technically getting myself out of a majority

You see this is where U don't like the first round voting, there is virtually nothing to go on. So when it comes to putting someone in a majority there is very little to back yourself up when put under the interrogations of everyone.
I don't know why markus was in a majority, I don't find him more suspicious than anyone else at this moment.
My vote stays where it is. Though I am not entirely comfortable with either kion or Markus getting shot, ast they can be quite helpful to the game as humans. Though I don't know where else to vote, it's a tough one.

I might have accidently jumped on a Sky vote (So much for any reading skills I may have ) but I'll keep my vote there. I'd prefer not to get into this large...r majority business unless I deemed it necessary. Two votes are fine, though
Still voting Sky.

Probably not going to change my vote. With no inactives (gotta love our group), there's no clear choice, and I don't have a particular desire to shoot any of the majority candidates.
Switching my vote from Koin to Ardi to eliminate a majority. No real suspects yet.
Sorry, nothing to see here folks, keep moving.

Spider doesnt really see a whole lot, just generic first round stuff....I dont know koin's schedule but seemed unnecessary to vote Markus when he did 'to get himself out of the majority' considering (from the looks of it) it was 2-2-2 i think....I might switch to koin, not that self preservation is ever a bad thing, but seemed to jump to it a bit quickly...nothing much but in round 1 gotta try to justify something to myself here haha

I don't see the point of all these majorities. We have no inactives and no one is suspicious so far. I only see the part about saving yourself if you have a majority on you. If you aren't in a majority, you don't need to be potentialy shooting a random person??? It just makes you look suspicious.
So we get a MoO which is the bane and worst form of WWG in existence
and only novices find it suspicious
and if you're trying to make a point chang, 3 hours to go is a lot different than 12 hours to go

Yeah, it is bane, but Like all first rounds, we are clueless, I have seen worse actually but not by much. At least from the second round onwards things always pick up, for better or worse. But first rounds are the worst, Other than the odd random lucky shooting of an inexperienced wolf, there is not much to talk about.
Though I prefer not to have the MoO thing happen(as is in this case) I don't like to put someone in the firing line either. Now I am not one for jumping to conclusions, but I am going to keep an eye on koin just in case.
I am going to be busy today, So I highly doubt I will be around to see the round end, but it's certainly an interesting start to the game, which is exactly what I wanted, voting sky early to spark discussion early on worked.
See you all real soon,
Stewie.

I'm not saying we get a MoO, but shooting a person for not showing up until 6 hours into the round. They aren't inactive??? I'm just making a point about it.
I am not making a point and this isn't MoO.
@spider, you're active enough where 12 v. 3 isn't a huge difference (if that was what you were referring too).
sometimes I don't get y'all... at what point do things become relevant. Last game no one wanted to think anything of the eating and we couldn't build a majority on anyone.
An honest question I have is: what's the first thing you investigate when wolf hunting?

I never said it was MoO, but slammin's thinking leads directly to it if all players had the same thought. No, you put a vote on me, I'm not sure why, possibly as a 'see how Koin feels' point. I don't know what you mean by the 12-3 thing though.
I told you why I thought koin was a possible vote, your free to disagree or agree, but instead you just jumped on me for no real reason, or at least stated one

I think the point slammn was trying to make was that shooting someone who's in a majority (or putting them in one) in a game with no inactives is suspicious. However, I agree with Spider that an MoO is possibly the worst choice in any game, regardless. I'm well aware that this isn't an MoO, but his point remains valid.
The fact is, we don't have a clear candidate for a shooting this round, so this was bound to happen. We just have to roll with it.

@spider, I wasn't refering to you in my MoO comment, but to Stewie... and this was what I was confused about (you 12 v. 3):
The_Spider wrote:

My votes are just to see how people react. I am not a great explainer of analysis. So when I play a game, it's unselfishly for myself ( ) In all honestly I doubt I would let you get shot early, if you prove human, you are decently useful in wolf hunting...
@ds, I agree about the MoO comment, but in my last game (with LH and brandon) MoO was actually preferred... So I am trying to decipher where people stand on the issue...
@ all, I agree there's never a good first pick, but there's a point where you're gonna have to make a move.

Finally have a bit of time on the train. To elaborate on my post earlier, I felt stew seemed a bit off because he is coming across a bit diplomatic - "I don't want to see either person shot" and comments of the like. And his post above seems to continue in this vein.
EDIT: also stew's tetchiness at his vote being put in a majority by jem.
Other notes Spid's earlier post regarding koin seemed a bit off. Not the reasoning, just reading through spid doesn't seem himself so far. Seemed to be putting a feeler out rather than stamping solid reasoning. I know its round one but spid generally has faith in his suspicions and we haven't had a "" smiley yet.
Haven't noticed anything else major yet, will have a more thorough look at home.

Oh, i thought you meant like 12 humans vs 3 wolves or something
I was saying if I act to save myself (I will) its much different than koin acting to save himself with 12 hours left...then again I can normally count on my reputation to save myself in Rd1-2 or so, so maybe thats why I tend not to see the need to countermajority when Im in a 2-2-2 tie
EDIT: How confident do you want me to be in Round 1...didnt we just go through this Spider seems off last game anyway ftr, I dont even think thats an accurate assessment of me at all, I try to make logical reads but I never act like I can't miss, unless its some tongue in cheek show of bravado

I guess its the bravado I'm referring to last game was a charade anyway, since I was the wolf, so not sure that really counts. Just a feeling, thought it might be worth noting. Think stew is a much better bet anyway.

Lol. you're right... spider is off.
While I want say that this is never true... you have a feel about you that is always technical. I am almost the opposite, which is why we don't always click together...
I am sure you're referring to sky, but I am about 35% sure I would like to see you next round... better than the 20% that you're wolf and 7% as an individual...
**EDIT TO ADD**
The only reason why I would push stewie vote, is because he just modded a game (sorta) and would really like to give him time for some game play... so make your votes (if you're gonna switch) and I may think of an alternative).

there's nothing off about me, players have a normal 'band' of behavoir, you guys like to simplyify and type cast everyone, we're all 3Dimensional players here
I would much prefer a simple, no Spid, you're comments about koin are asanine and you should feel bad, then this, Spider's off again!

Some players are... but some aren't. I will give you that the last games you played (3 if I remember correctly) each game you played with a slightly varying degree of technicality... But when things didn't go as expected when you ventured away, you quickly go back to what you know.
As random as I am, I am really not at all three dimensional player...
***EDIT TO ADD***
Spider, you should always feel bad when you're never voting wolf. You're the pillar of excellence and you should live upto everyone else's expectation of you.
Better?
PS~ You're being asinine.

I think some folks are just getting tired of the usual Round One Random game our group usually plays. We seem to be lost without an inactive/useless player to focus on, causing people to dig a bit deeper for possible clues. But it's a shallow well at this point.

No, I think I agree with it as much as I can with what we have. Spider's point - that he knee-jerked too early - is all that really sticks out to me.
I don't see why it's not fair game to state that someone is vibing to you, particularly in round one. You seem to be taking it as a bit of an attack, which it isn't. It has nothing to do with typecasting or simplifying people, just noting that I think your round one play is differing slightly from your usual round one human play, that's all. And I'm not about to vote you for it or encourage others to do so based solely on this. I wanted it noted for future rounds when I look back. No need to bite hands off.
Looks like I'm going to have to switch to ensure my own safety this round. It's a shame nobody seemed to concur with my thoughts on stewie. I thought I might be onto something there.

We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams.
Discussion was fierce - votes slandering off towards each other quickly, and people grouping on others further as the discussion progressed; but it was time to finalize the decision and get the shootings done with. The Judge called upon the two people who had the most votes against them forth; Markus and koin_era345.
Both stood tall in front of the Judge, and with pleading expressions, begged for the votes to be cast again; but the Judge knew this wouldn't end if he were to allow that. With quick pacing, people began throwing arguments against and with the two people standing before the Judge, but there seemed to be no resolve, as the air grew more and more tense with the spit and cutting of the terrified people.
Silence.
The crowd stood around the two prosecuted and listened in on the growling that had erupted. The growl was deep and cut-throat, evidently non-human. With gasps and screams the crowd turned in every direction, trying to focus on where the growling was coming from, but it became evident when they closed in on the two suspects standing before the Judge. The two wolves in the crowd stared on in both shock and alertness as Markus wretched forward in agony.
With a loud scream, Markus fell to the floor with his eyes widened and beads of sweats zipping down his forehead. As he gasped for air, he looked into the crowd, almost as if searching for someone, but he soon realized that person had disappeared. With a small tear forming in his eye, he clenched his fists and beat them into the ground, trying to numb the pain his body was in. His spine cracked upward and bulged out of his skin; in rhythm, each part of his spine jerked outward as his limbs began to grow at a rapid pace, and more bones cracked and twisted as he progressively turned. The Judge stood in awe at this new sight, and froze before the beast that was wrenching in front of him, the people behind the wolf were suffering from the similar effect.
Hair sprouted out of his body, and the front of his face pushed outward, human teeth falling out through the mouth to be replaced by sharp canine teeth, with blood gushing in too, and pooling on the floor. Lifting his hand, the wolf stared in agony as his nails grew sharper, and his skin flailed off, falling on the pool of blood. Suddenly the wolf darted away at lightning speed, leaving the shocked villagers behind. Looping round the house, he left the villagers and continued running, the transformation still taking place.
The villagers continued to stare at one another, looking down at the dead skin and blood, and back at the place the wolf ran. Immediately they began pursuit, following the trail of blood and mess of crushed foliage that was left behind. They caught up to the wolf and saw him growling menacingly to a person in front of him, who, in turn, was both sobbing and cursing the wolf. This time, without hesitation, the Judge brought the gun up to his front and blew holes in the wolf.
The powder cut through the wolf's fur, and it was over in an instant. The wolf toppled over onto the floor, and began to reverse his transformation. Slowly his fur retracted into his body, and his limbs grew lightly smaller, but then it stopped; leaving the Lycan halfway through his transformation looking demonic and hellish. The sobbing person stared at the lifeless wolf in shock, and knelt before the wolf. Then the person fell apart; With a cry of pain, the person's face shoved into the half human half wolf, weeping into the fur and skin and crying out the wolfs name; Markus. This person was the lover of Markus, most of the villagers, (save the two wolves), knew this, and they kept their distance as he continued to cry and sob.
The first voting day came to an end. With the death of the wolf, the village was in joy, but with the death of the love of the person, there was a hint of sorrow in the air as well. The two wolves were back to a relaxed state though, having lost the mystery wolf.
Markus was a wolf - Lover No 1
