ONE DAY AT A TIME
ONE DAY AT A TIME
Chickens? I thought that we were Indians.
I just logged on and came here first due to the notification that a new round had started. Since there are 45 hours before a vote is due, I'm waiting to see what everyone has to say as well as who posts.
I see Starbuck was eaten. Can anyone see a significant reason why he was the first to be eaten? I'll have to go back through the first round and do a bit of reading.
Also, Stewie, are you going to tell us throughout the game if we managed to shoot a Cowboy/Wolf?
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

Of course . If thats what you want.
Sorry to see two fine indians like chili and Star go like that. But that's the way it goes.
Also I would like to thank zonobobo for sharing that information about The Hopi tribe. An interesting one. I like learning about different tribes and it is always nice to learn someting new. So thank you zonobobo.

Hi guys! I have just got back from school, and I too find it wierd that Starbuck was eaten. Maybe it was because chiliwormeater4 was a wolf, and the other wolves got revenge on Starbuck, being one of the people that shot chiliwormeater4. But that might have happenned, every possibility. It could have been that he was just acting suspicious to the wolves(but no-one else),otherwise we would have shot him, wouldn't we? And the wolves, they probably wanted to get rid of him ASAP. Again, a great possibility. If not, there could well be the reason that he was not posting very much(have to go back and check!), and the wolves thought that he was a waste of time. I have no other ideas of why the wolves got rid of him.
EDIT: Oops, I didn't read Stewie's post! Please take no note of my first reason. And why was I the first one to vote for chiliwormeater4? Curse me!
2ND EDIT: Okay, Starbuck was quite active, and made about 4 or 5 posts. Strike my third idea. Now, I only have the 2nd idea. Let's just hope it's right, then we can find the people that didn't like Starbuck.

Let's not miss that the round did seem to time out as if a wolf never posted their vote. Cookieseller could be that wolf. It might be a lucky catch for the Indians and a chance to knock a wolf out early. Some players might even bail out because they didn't want to be a wolf.
In any event, it is something to consider this round. It is too early to vote I think but unless I get some other significant info I might follow that lead. It could be a wolf ploy if a wolf noticed cookie hadn't been around and held their vote off. That is a possibility I suppose.
Still, it is smoke and where you see smoke you might see a message.

Zonahobo makes a good point. I think cookieseller may well be a wolf/cowboy; assuming that the cowboys would delay their vote to frame them might be a little too ellaborate. I won't cast my vote yet but this seems to be the best lead I have to go on so far.
Starbuck might have been eaten because she had votes from Chilli and Hadleigh. She was the only one the wolves could eat to put a little suspicion on another active player (Hadleigh) to make us think she was eaten because she voted for Hadleigh. I think the wolves want us to think Hadleigh is a cowboy and the cowboys took Starbuck out for voting for one of them. I don't buy that though. If any thing, Hadleigh is less suspicious to me because I think it was a wolf ploy to get us to suspect her.
Canonly's "chicken" post is a bit wolfish to me too. Most people hadn't even loged on to Braingle so it is hardly being a chicken. If anything, a wolf would be waiting to post for someone else to post first. Trill took care of the first post problem. I have been in the same boat being online and feeling I should post (not vote!) so others do not think I am suspicious for just lurking to see the round change.
A couple players were still online when I signed out. I think wolves might want to see how their vote mixes in with the other votes and are just as curious about who gets eaten. Possibly even more so than humans who know someone is going down. When I bailed Canonly, Issac, MadL and Smithy had all been on after Braingle mid-night. Smithy has an excuse because the Brit's refuse to set all their clocks by Arizona time. He had probably already had the next morning's cup of coffee (or tea?) and read the daily news.
So, just wanting to toss out my observations. I am playing to win as a human. If it seems aggressive, well, the wolves are biting at my heels people!
I'll get in another tribal post before the round ends. I have been told I have some Ogala Sioux and Cherokee in me so I will do one of them probably. I think there is something like 200 tribes still recognized in the U.S. I love Native American culture and respect most of their values a great deal. We could have learned much from them I think.

Exactly my thinking. The round timed out. I will be the first to go ahead and vote for cookieseller.

Since the round did time out, I agree with Hobo and Nym that cookieseller seems suspicious. I should have kept my vote that way last time apparently...sorry Chili!
Who should I vote for , let me think IDK ?
"If everybody talk like my friend Jesus, if everybody love like my friend Jesus, if everyone forgave like my friend Jesus, what a change world this could be!"

I'm gonna wait and see how the voting goes, and some more posts, then I'll vote
I'm going to cast my vote for cookieseller, based on zonahobo's logic. At best, we take out one the Cowboys early on. At worst, we take out an inactive Indian who wouldn't be of much use to us anyway.
And just for future reference zonahobo, it would definitely be morning tea!

I'll go ahead and join in on the cookie vote. I like an English tea in the evening Smithy. I drink it proper with cream and sugar.
Tribal Info: Ogala Lakota
The Oglala Lakota or Oglala Sioux, meaning "to scatter one's own" in Siouan, live in the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota bordering Nebraska and 50 miles east of Wyoming, the second largest reservation in the United States. The reservation has broadly three parts, pine covered hills and ridges, grassy plains and a desert area. All three parts are noted for natural beauty. The Oglala Sioux see themselves primarily as part of the Lakota or Sioux people.
HistoryThe Oglala Sioux, along with the six other groups of Lakota, had separated from each other by the early 19th century. By 1830, the Oglala had around 3,000 members. In the 1820s and 1830s the Oglala, along with the Brules (another division of Lakota) and three other Sioux sects, formed the Sioux Alliance. This Alliance caused much warfare between the Western Sioux and surrounding tribes for territorial and hunting reasons.
Sex rolesTypically, in the Oglala Sioux society, the men are superior to the women and are in charge of the politics of the tribe. The men are always the chiefs, leaders, and warriors. However, women are and always have been highly regarded and respected in the tribe. Any forms of violence against women are extremely looked down upon. Similar to non-Indian outside cultures, women are beginning to participate more in leadership roles such as superintendents of reservations, community leaders, and teachers.
Traditional culture
Family was and still is of utmost importance to the Oglala Sioux, with loyalty to the tribe coming in close second. Each family had one or more tipi households.
(Left Hand Bear, an Oglala chief, Omaha, 1898.)

I feel like I've missed so much! Ergh, I'm agreeing with the bandwagon vote, as I have no idea who else to vote for.
Come what may.
Come what may.
I would still like to wait and see what those who have not posted have to say, but that backfired on me last round as the votes were already done when I came back to do some further reading...
I'm sorry to see that we have now shot a human in error - sorry Chili but you did make yourself sound very suspicious first thing in the game. I'm going to vote for cookieseller333.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

Alright, I just got back from track practice, and I've been catching up on the posts, and I've come to the conclusion that cookieseller is a cowboy.
Dear God, That which I am about to do is really stupid. I hope I come out of this alive. Thanks God. Peace Out. (Stage Crew Prayer)

I don't want this to sound like I'm defending cookieseller, but:
When all the wolves are active, and I'm a wolf, I purposely don't vote - to make it seem like there is an inactive one.
Anyway, I'll vote for cookieseller.

Socca and Lava are the only two not voting for cookie. I think that is very suspicious and we may need to look into that next round...

Only one more vote and Cookie is outta here. Looks like things are really starting to heat up around here.
Do I sound suspicious... oh, that's not very good now is it... I don't really feel the need to defend myself though since you will make the right choice anyways... but whatever... I'll be the last vote and change my vote... again, and it's all just for you trilll... snaps for trill.
