ROUND 2!
Sorry the Boss memo may look odd as far as formatting goes. I forgot to save a psych question so I PM'ed the Boss and he/she posted it in his/her memo.
Psych question with a twist:
When is the last time you lost your temper?

I've placed a safety for Skybet for now, pending discussion, because I get nothing new from the memo/psych.
Boss said:
I've never heard that terminology before, so I googled "Catch you Out" and that means to catch someone in a lie/deception/trick.
I suppose that's to mean that the "Beans On Toast" was to throw us off? But the Boss isn't supposed to lie... Perhaps this person DID learn how to make BonT but they are not English?
Interestingly enough, the only sites (beside the dictionary) that use this phrasing are from the UK.
I am once again voting on Skybet He was not cleared the previous round & as far as I know, he's the only one living in England.
That's all I got, but that's all anyone really has to go on, so I think it's a good start

Thought that one would catch you out.

Being that this is just a 10 player game, I gather that the Boss only had 1 optional firing (+ the mandatory). Is that right?
Buu said he was going to vote for Skybet, too, and he was fired. Just on face value, that would seem to clear Skybet. There's always the chance that buu didn't change his vote (or it didn't save, as happens more frequently than it should).
I have a safety on MrsBlondie right now but I'm up for another round on Skybet. This Psych doesn't offer anything; the Boss was smart to hide behind a game reference.
The last time I lost my temper was probably work-related and maybe a week or so ago. But I didn't actually yell at anyone (yell about, sure, but not at). I don't really remember the last time I actually had a fight/argument with someone in which we exchanged heated words, or a time when I started throwing things and stamping my feet.

Valid point, that makes a lot of sense. The psych answer was "Beans On Toast" was the first thing the boss learned to cook, so that means that is the honest answer. So that implies that the boss saying s/he tricked us isn't true (Since I don't see how else the answer could've tricked us...).
I'm still confident that the Boss is from Europe; based on that, those listed below are potentially cleared:
Elios
Gizzer - Do Canadians eat Beans On Toast?
MrsBlondie
Nicats
Yuffie
Unlisted Locations:
Izzie - It's my opinion that she's American, am I wrong?
Python
So... I guess by a process of elimination, my two biggest suspects are Python and Skybet. If the Boss IS American (or Gizzer LOL) I would LOVE to hear how you came about learning to cook Beans On Toast before anything else

Ugh, I know that feeling! There's really no way of knowing if Buu voted for Skybet/if it saved without asking him after the game ends - I'd still like to gain majority on Skybet, but I'm willing to try someone else first, if we have any other leads.
Keeping my vote on Skybet for now

Edit to add: Something just occurred to me: why would the Boss fire buu and not Yuffie? Yuffie cleared herself last round with video evidence of her first time cooking Beans on Toast, but buu was still a viable suspect. And maybe this memo is actually the misleading piece of information. I'm probably way overthinking all of this. Officially changing my vote to Skybet (unless someone else has another idea?)

If both last round's Psych answer and this round's memo taunt are true, then it means the Boss isn't British (or from a place where Beans on Toast is common) and we were tricked into thinking it. Maybe the Boss has a relative or family friend who lived in/visited/was from England and started the meal tradition in his/her family. A lot of American "mutts" have more than one cultural background to draw from. If that's the case, though, I wonder why the Boss would even mention it in this Memo. Why take away an advantage just to brag about tricking us? Edit to add: Something just occurred to me: why would the Boss fire buu and not Yuffie? Not going to quote Elios, but you do have great points!
I was originally thinking that it could be just a family tradition & the Boss is American (or anything else) but I was hoping to narrow down the possibilities Plus, I know I'm not the best with popular phrases, but I've never heard of "Catch you Out" before. Just like "Take the Mickey", I think it's a UK phrase. Again, I don't have any solid evidence this phrase ISN'T used in America, but based on the definition:
It's British Slang (the term "Mad" as in "crazy" also has "chiefly Brit" listed in its definition, as a comparison). Again, The Boss' parents could be English while s/he was born in America, but I think it's best to go with the obvious first & work our way from that.
Elios' point about Buu441 being fired instead of me only confirms my suspicion. Either he accidentally kept his previous vote/his vote never saved or the Boss just loves me
No one's really coming on, but I would really love to get a majority on Skybet so we can either win or move on to other suspects!

well skybet seems to be the best bet. if everyone is active and double checks their votes we could be positive on the clear.

Hey, sorry I'm late I was putting my Christmas tree up last night.
The Boss is certainly playing a shrewd game. I don't know if I'm being framed intentionally or you're all just thinking along the wrong lines. And again, I had no idea the term "catch you out" was exclusive to the UK.
I'm going to vote Gizzer. Not entirely sure why. While you're all chasing me as a lead, I don't really know where to turn.
The last time I lost my temper was a few weeks ago when I had an argument with my flatmate over who does more housework.... We soon realised it was the most pointless argument.

This game seems rather quiet. I was hoping to have some discussion about who the Boss could be if it's not Skybet. ... I have no other suspects, really, so I'm no help.
I do not suspect Yuffie or Gizzer right now, though either could be the Rat.
Again, the Employees don't seem to be working together. If you're not joining the majority, at least share who your suspects are and why. Otherwise you're not really playing the game, you're more just along for the ride.

In my case Elios, I think both the boss and the rat are very active and are trying to get everyone else to think wrongly about things. I just haven't figured who they might be. Most of you guys have played a lot of WTB games and would know what you're doing.

I would like to ask people to be definite about their votes. When one is vague, players end up questioning if a player is cleared. Bold the name so I can see it for the list. State outright that you have voted, or locked in the vote. MrsBlondie's example is great because she put the name in allcaps, then edited to confirm the vote was locked in. Thanks!
As for my other suspects: PYTHON, as the only other male, is at the top of my list. His country is not given. For some reason I keep thinking of Monty Python.
Edit, after seeing PYTHON's post above. The phrase "think wrongly" also sounds very British to me.

We had a Rat-proof majority, so Skybet is cleared.
I can confirm that my vote 'safety' vote, (not SPV!), is for MRSBLONDIE. And it is confirmed. Guys you can think whatever you like about Monty Python, but it really is not where I get my name from. I will happily confirm that outside of the game too. But at least now I have a couple of possible boss and rat suspects.

I don't think I mind restating what's already been said in the round (like a summary of voting for example) but please don't reveal any new information. I'm still new at modding this game, so I'm still adjusting somewhat.

The only really active players are Gizzer, Elios and myself. Elios is my OLDER sister & so I am confident she is cleared as well, for the same reason. (it's not taped, but she tried it the same day I did).
It's possible one of us is the rat, but we won't really know until we start naming suspects. (I can tell you I'm not the rat, but it's unnecessary since everyone says that).
I'd already been suspecting PYTHON mostly for his tactics in the game. It is possible Gizzer is the Boss & Elios (or anyone else) is the Rat, but usually the Boss hovers under the radar and Gizzer has been uber-active since the beginning of this game. Could be an awesome strategy (I've done that in a werewolf game as a wolf) but I'm not really seeing it.
Just thought I'd post my 2 cents, in case I'm the lemming that gets fired LOL
