So bababawhomp was cleared - that is one step in the right direction, I guess!
Okay, so koin's point made towards the end of round 1 is pretty fair, that in the psych answer, the boss could have meant that this is his/her first game as boss, not as a general player. We should consider that. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to tell who has been boss before, is there? And in any case, I am still somewhat sceptical of this idea because it seems like the psych answer was clear enough that it was the boss's real first game. But, as bababa said last round, that only leaves 2 suspects, Melody_Pond and me, which seems a little too easy.
Next, based on the psych answer for this round only, I looked at everyone's profiles and the people who listed reading/books as an interest are:
christiangrl
entrails (me!)
kmrutledge
Melody_Pond
Looking at christiangrl's profile, it seems like she's made some literature-related quizzes, and especially this one seems to match the boss's interest in Sherlock Holmes, since Sherlock Holmes is a classic. Melody_Pond's avatar also mentions a Sherlock (presumably Sherlock Holmes, but it could only be referring to that TV show and not necessarily the novel). Those are the only possible connections I see. Also, it is quite possible that people who didn't list reading as an interest also could be the boss, because the question did prompt about books, and people could have just not filled out the 'interests' section of their profile, etc.
I can't make heads nor tails of the clue though (also take note of the t s / r t e in white text underneath the n h l g). I will work and that and come back later.
Safety-voting for Melody_Pond for now since she kind of loosely fits all of the clues we have (except the clue given by the mod since we haven't figured it out yet). I will come back later to see if any useful discussion has happened.

You have to realize that the boss could have failed to put the reading in their page. Random vote for now.

Melody sounds like a good vote this round. Christiangrl would be more, umm.. literate, in the memo. Entrails and kmrutledge also seem employee, although we can't completely clear anyone.

From what the discussions were last round, I think bababawhomp might be the Rat.

After spending the night in the hospital last night, I am not realy sure what to do, but I am gonna vote for melody for now. If I see any discussions that point towards something else, I might change.

I have a question, so Melody wasn't on yesterday until she spoke up, so does that mean she couldn't have written the memo? (and no, lillypad, I'm not the rat, though I'm glad that was finally brought up)
Also, kitty-cat, is that a 1?

I just got on. This is the first time I have been on all day. My avatar is related to the TV show not the book. The TV show is just called Sherlock so if it were me I wouldn't have written Sherlock Holmes. I am not much of a mystery fan (except for Sherlock) I prefer fantasy or science fiction. When I had a different account I had been the boss before and I know how to play this game and always use proper grammar. I hope this is enough evidence to clear my name...I am going to go run the code through a couple of ciphers be right back...
EDIT: Didn't find much with the ciphers...though I am not very good at ciphers so someone else want to try. Random vote for thekid4

Okay, this is kind of a shot in the dark here, but I think the clue is missing a letter or letters in between the top and bottom row of letters. The second line is h_s/r so that shows ambiguity, most likely his/her. If I had to guess the entire clue, it would be "not his/her 1st game." Since I'm not 100% sure of the actual sentence, I think we should look at the people who don't have a gender given. How does that sound?

I think you're right. Which would mean... The boss lied? I'm gonna put a vote on thekid for a possible majority switch.

I don't think the boss lied, I think he/she is someone who hasn't been boss before this game.

Of the employees remaining who don't show their gender, CrazyPineapple and JQPublic have played WTB before. CrazyPineapple has played once before this, and JQpublic has played 17 times before this. So, statistically speaking, we should vote for crazypineapple because he/she has had a smaller chance of being boss.
EDIT:
Please double check my findings and correct me if necessary.

"not his/her 1st game" sounds legitimate. Now, any other ideas on the clue?

@bababa: CP has played on an old account.
I'll see if I can solve the clue. Until then, my vote is on melody.
PS I'm a he.

Yes. Okay, so the Boss messaged me right after they sent the memo, and said that they hadn't meant to lie, so I let it go. The next clue will be a direct clue to the boss.

Could we potentially look at the possibility that the "his/her" in the clue is because of kitty-cat doesn't know the gender?
Um ... okay. Sorry; I only skimmed through the beginning. Thanks to my time zone, whenever I log on, there's usually either a lot of posts, or very few, to read.
I don't think kitty would be so kind as to use 'his' or 'her', even if she knows the boss's gender. You're not supposed to give away the boss like that ... I'm keeping my vote on Melody.
Although I used to put up the male icon, I think I'd removed it by the time I first met kitty. However, she's probably figured out by now that I'm not a girl.

Seeing as the boss lied and it is no longer their first game, I think we should look at the people who have played only a few games, hopefully because the boss forgot, not because they are an outright liar.
On that note, I'll join the vote for Melody, though I don't think she is the boss, but I don't want you all to be lemmings.
EDIT: Both asteroidbelt and lillyPad have played only 1-2 games before, and neither of them seems very active. Both have posted only once, asteroid in the first round, and lillyPad in the second round. Flying under the radar is a very boss-like thing to do, so I'll be voting for asteroidbelt this round.

I'm voting for lillyPad. Just saying the boss will probably survive this round.
1 minute left. Not voting asteroid because we almost definitely won't have a clear (or fire if he's the boss) and no point in being a lemming.
