Glad I checked before calling it a night. From the clearing clue, the only thing I can see is the blue sky with a profile at each end. The obvious would be Skybet or extremeblueness - but, that is just too obvious. I'll take another look at it in the morning.
For now, I'm placing a safety vote on freakshow07
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

I think that we may have a very active group this game. So, I will vote with some caution in round 1. Usually when there's a number of inactives its a great time to all vote on one player. Inactives get fired and we clear someone without the risk of being fired lemmings. If we have 2-3 inactives this game I will push to clear a player. We would need 7-8 votes on that player to guarantee a clear. Everyone can make up their own mind on this. I've been boss and rat last two games so I don't need to try and confuse everyone.
Simple: round 1 inactives = free clear if majority vote.
Round 1 is wasted if only inactives get fired and we don't get majority vote on 1 person.
I agree with froggy that it is likely one of those two players the clue points to. I'm intrigued about the silhouettes though. I think it would be more likely extremeblueness. I'd have expected money in the sky if it was pointing to Skybet. But in case it's not that simple I would like to think about it in the next 23 hours.
Edit1: gizzer has a lighthouse as her avatar. The clue could also point to Gizzer.

The clue would look so much prettier if the black portions were white. I should've asked Master Designer Stewie to make the image for me. Probably would've saved a lot of frustration with Paint and Photobucket.
I also do not think the clue would be as easy from shadows. I am at work at the moment and will post later. Will have a think during the day.
We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams.

Yeah, I am in college and still half asleep here, SO I can't contribute much right now.
But I will put in a random safety vote.

I think I can gather from the clue who is cleared.
I'm thinking from the memo that StewieGriffin might be a contender, just the style of writing, nothing of that much weight. Going to throw a vote his way, and will come back later, lets try and get a majority forming soon!
Beaches and Fire, tis all I need right now!
i can't make out much from the image either. a face pointed like the sky or something. so i ain't being able to relate anything other that blue or sky atm.
anyway, i had put a safety vote on changhill on my way in. will change later if i see a majority forming. enough time left.
Leo: Hold on. This is gonna hurt. Coach Hedge: I was BORN for HURT!!

Well, I'm thinking the obvious from the clue, but I know that shady does not normally do clues that blatently easy.
As for the memo, I can think of many more places I would rather visit before Hawaii, But if you wanna vote to clear me Chris, I won't stop you. I also know that I would nto make it that easy to reveal myself. Well to each their own. That could be written by anyone.
However I am actually going to change my vote to jervis. As in a recent game I believe he stated that I does not like the cooler climates, So Hawaii would be a nice holiday if that was the case? I could be wrong on that, but I'm sure I heard it somewhere.
That's about all I have now.
Unless we are not looking at the bigger picture in regards to the clearing clue.

I am going to put a safety vote on Pianist, confused about the clearing clue though.
The clues aren't usually what they seem...
The clues aren't usually what they seem...
I don't know why, but the clearing clue image really freaks me out. I don't have any ideas about who it may clear.
I will put a random safety vote on buu for now (don't think he's been voted for yet), but as always, I'd consider joining an attempted clearing majority.

Pianist, you stated you think you know who the clearing clue is referring to - care to share your thoughts?
I'm leaving my vote where it is for now but will keep checking back in. I'm waiting to see if Gizzer solves the clearing clue since she is really good at creating and solving clues.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

I don't know who the clearing clue is referring to, although it might be me or Skybet. Here's a piece of info which y'all are missing that might aid us:
Recognize that image? What if it were narrower and the sky portion were completely white? Its the optical illusion that can be either two faces or a vase.
The only reason the image could point to me is because of the optical illusion, and illusions are considered somewhat extreme. And what better to represent blue than with the sky? (blueberries, for one thing)
However, I think its most likely Skybet in the clue.
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." -Romans 12:2

I am going to be gone most of the day tomorrow, so I am going to throw out a random vote for buu441. If I had known this before, I would not have joined a game at all, but I just found out that i have to get up at 6:30 in the morning and go somewhere, about 5 minutes ago. Anyhoo, i will try to check back in tomorrow evening.

Anyways, here's who could be the boss in my opinion:
jervis
kmrutledge
StewieGriffin
froggygg
jervis is my prime suspect, so I'm voting for him.

Hmmm, I thought I posted, but may have just looked at the clue... don't see clear majority yet, so I will put in a safety for Elios.

I saw the faces or a vase silhouette as well. I checked the teaser, and didn't see a comment on it from anyone in the game. The date it was submitted (October 15, 2005) doesn't match anyone's join date, and no one in the game has that teaser listed in their favourites.
The sky image itself reminds me of the picture pieces from one of my WITW games, but that is likely too obscure.
I agree that it could be meant to clear extremeblueness, or possibly Skybet. I don't think we need to look too deeply here. I know that the Boss clue will be (and should be!) very difficult, but clearing clues usually aren't too difficult.
At this point, I will focus on the psych answer. The Boss clearly likes the heat, and seems to not have any right now. I know that I have more than enough heat here right now. Actually, my air conditioner just went on the fritz, and I have to find a repairman! I don't think buu, who lives in India, or kmr, who is in Thailand, would need to travel to Hawaii to get some tropical weather. Most places in the northern hemisphere are nice and warm right now. Therefore, I'll vote for jervis, as it is winter in Sydney now. (Having been there, I know that Sydney's winter is nowhere near as cold as winter here, but it's cold from an Aussie's perspective!)
Edit: vote confirmed

I have no clue who that clue could point to.
I would love to be in Hawaii. It is 84 degrees where I am and only 75 in Honolulu. The high here for the next week is between 84 and 97 while in Honolulu the high for the next week is 84 everyday. Plus you could go to the beach everyday there and go swimming.

My vote is still for Pianist even though it is just a safety vote.
What's 28 Celsius in Fahrenheit? That's what the weather has been like here for the past few weeks. Very consistent, very nice. 28x(9/5)=50, 50+32=82. So it's 82 F. Cool, 28 C = 82 F. I can remember that.
I want to live in Ottawa someday. They've got nice weather like this in the summer, warmer winters, few mosquitoes, HILLS, and a proper downtown.

Y'all are LUCKY to have it so cool where you guys are. The high where I am today is 93 degrees Fahrenheit (34 Celsius), and its usually over 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 Celsius).

I think I win the nice weather reward
Today's high was 81... let it be known that I live in Texas. The high is usually 100. A few days back we actually broke the record for record low by like 4 degrees... too bad it's all about to end. Tomorrow's high is 90. LAWL.

Hey chang. I just want you t know that in December of 2010 here In Dublin Ireland. It reached as low as 3.7.It's the coldest tempreture here since the records began, wy back when.
And your complaining about 81, give me a break. I recall the south pole being warmer than where I lived that day.

Stewie and Gizzer, yes I hate the cold!! This winter hasn't been too bad this year but still, I always prefer tropical weather. Desperate to get to the barrier reef this year.
Good to see a majority is forming on me, I will vote for kaldridge to keep safe. Only 1 inactive and still 5+ hours till the round ends. So we don't need an overwhelming majority on one person to gain some information. Yay.

I think I win the coldest winter award. The lowest last winter was -50 C, or... let's see... -58 F. A more normal daytime temperature is -40, which happens to be the same in C and F.
I decided to look up the local records:
The temperature here today wasn't as high as yesterday, which is good because the AC still isn't working. Yesterday was about 100F with the humidex. That's too hot for me!
Today was about 85F with little humidity and a nice breeze.
Edit: I'm signing off for the night! Good night or g'day, depending on where you live!

The highest recorded temperature in Nova Scotia was 101°F (38.3°C) on 19 August 1935 at Collegeville, and the lowest was -42°F (-41.1°C) on 31 January 1920 at Upper Stewiacke.

I now know why its so cool in Texas. A runoff of the Jet Stream is over Southeastern Texas:
Source: Intellicast
The majority of the Jet Stream is going from Oregon/Washington to Maine. However, part of the Jet Stream is looping backwards, and going over much of the south, and turning towards Mexico while over Texas.

I'm back
Our weather here in CA has been in the triple digits now for 19 days straight. The record is 21 in 2005 and we almost broke that record. Today it was cooler at only 99 so our triple digit run stopped at 19. That said, nothing but triple digits now forecast for the rest of the week and next week. We are supposed to hit 108 on Saturday and Sunday and in the 104-105 range the rest of the time. At least our humidity finally fell from around 30% which is unusually high for triple digit weather here. All I can say is, "Whew, is it ever hot and I really am dreading our next AC electric bill!"
Hope your AC gets fixed soon Gizzer because I know how hot it can be without it. We had a large area power outage two nights ago from around 11:30 pm until 20 am. It stayed on for about an hour and then went back off until it came back on at 40 am. What a hot and sleepless night with no lights, no TV, no AC, and no fans! Yuk!
Well, I'm also logging off for the night. Good night all.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

Right, lets see if I get this right.
6 votes are stated toward Jervis, so that would mean if he were Boss, he would be cleared next round.
Correct?
Beaches and Fire, tis all I need right now!
If one of the players who votes for him gets taken out of the game, then yes, he is cleared next round. Otherwise, no.

Good morning!
Stewie's right, we'll have to wait and see who is fired.
It is 65F here this morning, with 88% humidity, so it feels like 72. That's comfortable. The forecast is for a high of 80, with thunderstorms possible. If the humidity stays at 88%, that's a feels like temperature of 102, which is classified as "evident discomfort", and just shy of "intense discomfort; avoid exertion".
Meanwhile, the A/C repairman was here yesterday, and said he'll be back this morning with a part.

It's hot here too, not as hot but still hot, but I am not looking forward to tomorrow, even though I am. Because it's the weekend and the weather is great. But I have no AC and it's gonna be around 77-78 tomorrow with 76% humidity.
I love hot weather. But I hate it when I can barely breathe. I live on an island, we are not used to this weather for weeks on end. Though I will miss it when it's gone. Because it will be raining all day again. Yeah us Irish are never happy with the weather, it's either too hot, too cold, or too normal.
Stewie.

That's too bad, Jayo.
I am happy to report that my A/C is now working. Just in time, as the temperature in the house had already reached 76, the humidity is 93%, and it's not yet noon. No rain clouds in sight, either.

@gizzer 93% humidity? Where do you live? On a houseboat or something?

I live in a regular house. I'm in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This kind of humidity is not unusual here in the summer. That's why I have the A/C!
Goodbye fellow Irishman and friend, you will be missed.. Until the next game we play.

froggygg's not lying 'bout this, peoples. It really does get that hot here in California. And froggygg probably lives in Southern California, no farther north than Bakersfield. Because I live in the Central Valley, and here we've actually been having fairly cooler weather. But instead of days in a row of triple digits, we typically measure total days over 108 where I am. That's how hot it gets. I remember one year we had over 20 days over 108. Now that's hot.

I'm looking at the user activities, and I'm realizing that the only person who's last login was before today is Skybet. So its either really good planning on the boss's part, or Skybet is the boss.

Or I hadn't logged on yet.
My sleep schedule has been pushed so far back that I might as well be a few time zones away from here.
