I'll put a safety vote for Stewie.

Shadows came on after the round had ended and apparently stated a vote that was, per the rules of the game, edited out by Snowy. Perhaps he did not actually vote and was a mandatory. Limerick was also a no-how the whole round so we don't learn anything of value this round. Which is not unusual.
The Boss says he/she will watch "Project Runway" if it is on, I had no idea what that was so had to look it up.
The synopsis of the show I would def say the boss is female. Not to say a male would not watch it, some may, just none I know.
FEMALEs
Days
froggygg
HABS2933
talaisawsome
MALES
jpost
LogicalRoger

StewieGriffin
I would say either Days or Tala is the boss.
Voting Tala
Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.

I will safety vote for LR. I am leaning to agree with HABS on the female part though. Any of us like to sew?

I can't sew, my mom has tried teaching me that a few times. My hand eye coordination is to bad, and I'm not really into fashion. I'll post a safety on froggygg . I have to go to the doctors today, so I'll see what has happened while I've been gone when I get back.
I have to agree with Habs and think the best bet is Tala because she shows Illinois as where she lives and I know that the midwest can have a cold drizzle in the early mornings.
Habs, if you do not mind, I would like to also vote for Tala but will not do so if you do not want to be in a majority. I'll be back later to check in.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

I had no idea about project runway either, I actually thought it was a show about airports until I looked it up.
My mam does have a sewing box though rarely uses it and I never had the time for sewing, I don't like to do it anyway. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a gaming fanatic like no other, If it's not briangle and youtube/films
I am on my xbox. Anyway.
Though the majority of reality TV viewers are female from what I know, there are quite a few male ones too so that does not really give us much, though if we are playing the percentage game, I would go with a female boss.
I don't think a lot can be taken from the memo though it's pretty broad. I do agree though that we need to start clearing people, but who is the best option at this stage...
I'm just going to put a safety vote out for HABS for the time being. Unfortunately I won't have a lot of time to post this round, though I will try to make it back before the round ends. I am usually busy on Thursdays apologies.

I know I am not the boss, and anyone who knows me can now be fairly confident that I am cleared based on this round's answer. I make no secret of my feelings toward reality TV, or TV in general.
Actually, Tala's profile says California and Days' says Illinois.
We cannot really make any assumptions about where the boss lives. I've been to more places outside my home province than inside it. We rarely vacationed in Ontario, but have traveled to Florida on numerous occasions, stopping at attractions in each state along the way.
Perhaps the boss was holidaying away from home, and if they are from a warm environment but traveled outside that area, the rain may have seemed "cold" to them although those accustomed to the lower temps would not feel that way.

Hmm... just realized that the "being left behind in the cold drizzle" was probably as Habs said above - vacationing away from home.
Since we only have a limited amount of rounds due to only being a 10 player game, I will go ahead and join in the Tala vote with Habs.

I tend to agree about the female viewership of Project Runway. Apparently it is also a U. S. show, since some of you have never heard of it. I don't watch it myself but even I know it's Heidi Klum's real claim to fame. The fact that she didn't mention watching ANTM says she is discriminatory in her reality TV watching. I am also kind of surprised she didn't mention "The Bachelor/Bachelorette" since it seems to have a dominant female viewership. Since Project Runway is on a cable channel, it rules me out since I don't have cable or satellite.

I read the posts before the psych (at least thoroughly) and figured the boss had mentioned sewing. I guess not.
Anyways, yeah, I know I'm being very wishy-washy, (as usual in one of these games, to be honest), but I don't buy the gender thing. It certainly could be correct but it could just as easily be a male boss trying to throw us off. To me, it sounds as if the boss will be doing something else while having the TV on and, if this show happens to be on, they'll watch some of it. You don't necessarily have to love the show to do this, or be a woman for that matter. The boss was asked if they watched any and if they did this, even while hating the show, would be entirely possible as an answer. Though, admittedly, a guy watching it is probably rarer. This round the boss is very tight-lipped, no-nonsense.
Hmm. I'd hate to be fired so early so I'll be keeping my vote where it is unless I need to help clear someone and feel convinced enough. Right now I'm pretty much uncertain. If I were to believe everything said in the posts and that the boss was female I would also go with Tala, but as it is ... I'd like to think that the boss is trying to cleverly disguise his gender.
Since we need a voting list more than ever this round, to help see the majorities, here's my best:
Days - Froggy
froggygg - Tala
HABS2933 - Days
jpost - Tala
LogicalRoger - Stewie
scrub88 - LR
StewieGriffin - HABS
talaisawsome - ???
Oh, and, yeah, I agree that Limerick and Shadows were probably unable to vote in time so, seemingly nothing new in that direction.
As for the boss being an American woman: part of me wants something more unexpected but part of me wants to help vote in something that seems likely. I'll see what the rest of our guys say on the subject first before I think of changing.

Removing myself from consideration, as I know I am not the boss, there are 7 possible candidates for boss. Of those 3 are both American and female. The boss is among these three.
Though I rarely concern myself with the rat, I think that Roger trying to swing us form American Female and not wanting to commit to a vote until her hears what the rest have to say, seems rather rodent like to me. But like I aid, I don't worry too much about that.

Sorry had a doctor's appointment. Been having trouble with my asthma lately and had a follow up visit..I guess I'll join with the tala majority.
I'm just trying to consider the possibilities. There's no reason for every player to vote for the same person to get a clear. And it's actually detrimental for a lack of different possibilities to be considered. It looks like most are voting for the same player which will hopefully grant us a cleared player.
Actually, how many do we need for a clear majority? Is it a certain 5/8? I know we don't count two for boss and rat and of course the cleared player. Blimey, does that mean we need everyone to vote to be certain? That can't be right ... right? It's been a while. Please enlighten me.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

The only way to WIN (which is after all the point of the game) is to vote for the boss. If we all feel Tala is the boss, it makes sense for us to vote for her.
There are 8 players left, half of 8 is 4. So we need 4 for a clear but since the boss and/or rat can be in those stated votes, we need 6 people to claim to vote for a given player in order for that player to be considered cleared.

Let us not forget that this is a 10 person game. That means we don't have very many rounds in which to find the boss.
We have to get organised and vote as a cohesive unit in order to come out on top.

I will vote Tala to help create a majority because I agree that we need a 6 person majority. This does not mean that I think Tala is the boss because I agree with LR that this clue does not determine the sex of the boss. And having played side by side as a wolf with HABS, I am leaving her as a suspect. And yes HABS, I would have expected you to say that you watch no reality TV. I am sure there is a way you could finagle this.
Do we get to find out if either of the people fired are the rat? I don't remember that part of the game.

Assuming the rat is still in the game, there will be six votes this round. To win(clear), we need more than half of the votes to be for the boss. Half of six is 3, so we need 4 votes. But since the boss and the rat are still in the game, we need 6 stated votes for a guaranteed clear or victory.
If the rat is gone, then there are 7 votes. half is 3.5 so we need 4 to eliminate the boss. If this is the case then we only need 5 votes because of the boss' ability to swing the stated vote.
So, to be totally safe, we need 6 stated votes.

With only 2 hours left in this round, I have just realized that Tala has not posted in this round at all and has not been on in 2 days. This is making me think she is not the Boss. I can't see any Boss not signing in or posting in a game because it will be obvious if she is not fired as a mandatory that she is the Boss or the Rat.
Almost too late to change votes, but I'm thinking we just might be putting all our necks on the line here...
I'll be back before the round is up to see what others that are still on might think about this.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

I agree, it is unlikely that tala is the boss based on this information. Not sure I want to be in a majority that has no chance of being a winning one.
My next best guess for boss (sticking with the American female school of thought) is Days. That is where I am moving my vote.

If we are not a clearing majority then I am changing to LR on a hunch. I don't really like this Who's the Boss, maybe it is becasuse I just don't understand it. I keep thinking that if I try it again it will start to make sense.

Scrubb, what i not making sense to you?
W It was pointed out that Tala has not been online for 2 days, and while it is "possible' that Tala submitted the psych sometime late Tuesday night, and Snow did not approve it until Wednesday this is unlikely.
This more or less clears Tala as boss and she is more likely than not going to be fired as a non-voter tonight.
There is no point in joining a vote for someone who is going to be fired.
If she is still around at the start of the next round, it means he is either the boss or the rat.

Sctubb I am with you to a certain extent, though I would like to point out that ou are not enjoying it becuse the boss is doing a good job at hiding, it is their job. I know it's frustrating, but every game of WTB is. It makes you feel that much better when you win because you know you have accomplished something.
You don't play it because it's easy.
I'm sorry if that response is against the rules, I posted it with two minutes to go before the round ended.

Normally it is, however, since with only an hour or so left it appeared that Tala was not going to show up, it became pointless for any of us to "waste" our vote for someone who would clear herself by not showing up to vote. IF anyone left their vote on Tala and she was a mandatory firing all the real boss would have to do is fire only among those who voted for the mandatory player. From this, we would learn nothing.
By switching our votes, Tala would be fired and count as one of the two the boss is allowed to terminate. The boss would then be forced to fire a player who did not vote for Tala and will tentatively clear the player for whom the fired player voted.
Scenario A: (no one changed their votes)
Tala gets fired for no show
I voted for Tala and am fired for being part of the majority that did. You know based on my firing that Tala is not the boss, which we already know because he was fired.
Scenario B. (votes changed off Tala)
Tala gets fired for a no show
I voted for you and get fired, the rest of the players can now assume that in all likelihood (but not be 100% sure) that you are not the boss (unless I lied oor forgot to vote).
There was no way with so little time left, we could have orchestrated another majority, so this is the next best thing.

Ok. I thought it would be better to clear by a majority.
The boss would then be forced to fire a player who did not vote for Tala and will tentatively clear the player for whom the fired player voted.

snow, I deliberately made my statement in such a way so as to not confirm who I actually voted for, but it is logical that boss, rat or worker, if I said who I was voting for in last round's discussion (which any player can go back and read), it is assumed I actually did vote for that person. If my comment stated I did not actually vote for that person, then you would be concerned because I am indicating a change of story from the last round. This, of course, is my interpretation of that rule. Otherwise, the rule makes no sense, anyway, unless you can explain it better.
