SingersAnswer
Robert Merrill is the odd person out because he was a famous baritone singer, whilst the other people are famous tenors.Robert Merrill (June 4, 1919 - October 23, 2004) was an American operatic baritone. Relatively late in his singing career, Merrill also became known for singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Yankee Stadium. He first sang the national anthem to open the 1969 baseball season, and it became a tradition for the Yankees to bring him back each year on Opening Day and special occasions.

Hmm not a subject I know much about!!
Pretty lame as far as brain teasers go. I think anyone can think of some (relatively) obscure information like this and pass it off as a legitimate brain teaser. I think there's a "trivia" section for stuff like this.
Brain teasers generally test your ability to reason through to a solution. If it requires too much specific knowledge, then it loses it's appeal.
