Puzzlepedia™ Grid Puzzles
Hebi
Place snakes into the grid so they don't attack each other.
The goal of a Hebi puzzle is to place as many snakes into the grid as you can in such a way that they don't attack each other. Clues are given to help you place the snakes. A snake is a chain of adjacent numbers 1->5 where the 1 is the head of the snake.
- The black cells with numbers and arrows indicate the numbered snake segment that is first encountered when viewing in that direction.
- Snakes cannot touch horizontally or vertically.
- The head of a snake (number 1) cannot see any part of another snake in its direction of view. Black squares block its view.
