Another outstanding rebus Just_Moi!
Clever
I hope you didn't mind my changes Just_moi? I think it works quite nicely, great concept.
thanx a lot dsquared... LUVed ur changes... i could NEVER have thought of that... really nice of u... u could have easily used it as ur own... :-)
was a bit too easy
I like that one! lol.. must be the geeky chemist in me
hey nice teaser, i submitted one quite similar recently, and due to the fact that this one was already posted, which i was not aware of, it didnt get posted :- (
the diffrence with mine was that i used the same cloud names, but instead of Ag, i put a diffrent word around each one, each associated with silver- ie/ moonlight, foil, tinsel..... but well done anyway!!!!

I always thought the silver was in the inside. Anyway, good teaser.
Loved it! i didnt get it though. . I dont know why, though, cuz now i look at it, it seems so easy. good job!
I TOO THINK THE LINING SHOULD BE ON THE INSIDE. (HOW 2 DO THAT, I DON'T KNOW.
Took me a sec cuz when I first looked at it I thought of gold instead of silver but I quickly figured it out as soon as I read the type of clouds. Nice teaser!
Cute, but very easy...
Having been a chemist made this an easy one for me....Phewww, finally I got one!
Sure enough a "lining" IS defined
as a layer of something ( silver in
this case ) INSIDE something else.
But if you look at the definition of
the word "silvering", it's an outer
layer or coating of/with silver.
So the teaser still works.

Fun and easy. I liked it. Took me a second but as soon as I noticed the cloud names I got it.
Great job!! Keep 'em coming...I do love rebuses.

This isn't perfect by any stretch, but says "silver lining" more clearly to me than the "ag" surrounding the clouds.

That was a cute enjoyable teaser, excellent for an after-lunch minibreak. Thank you!
Good teaser. Very easy.
karenokupniak's solution would not improve the nit picking accuracy. It implies Silver inside the cloud, somewhat different from a lining.
I say it works just fine the way it is.

Boy do I feel dumb. Good teaser anyways.
Cloud names gave it away
I knew it was "cloud" related. Thought maybe a weather report like" Intermittent clouds today"
I liked this one, keep em coming....
I liked this one, keep em coming....
Heigh oh silver lining away!
clever
The phrase is "Every DARK cloud has a silver lining." Just FYI, otherwise a so-so teaser.
good one, but way 2 easy...keep em' coming
Cute and easy!
Fun One! It was a bit easy, but for me that is a VERY good thing!
If you didn't know what Ag stood for, it was very difficult. I didn't know what Ag stood for.
I don't get this one.... maybe you do.
should have paid attention in chemistry class. great teaser.
Way too easy when you can identify the word Silver immediately
It was so clever!!! I knew the clouds and the silver but it took me a second to get the answer! and even then I worded it wrong
Got this right off. It might not fit perfectly for lining but if you know what Ag stands for then it's pretty easy to figure out.
Oh! I get it! Great teaser!!!
ok...i learned all that in 6th grad...i still remember ...but i just didn't put the silver and the clo0udstogether properly
Wow, that was great!
now this was a good rebus!!
I knew the three types of clouds
but couldn't figure out what was
surrounding them. Don't know
too many chemical formulas.
A lining is on the inside I believe,
otherwise I might have guessed
the silver part. It is more like
a covering . Just my opinion.
Thanks for someting to think about
and the new formula to remember.

good one I didn't get it but .... If you look at a dark cloud with sunlight behind it the cloud is OUTlined ... that is a lining isn't it?
I guess i did take something from high school chemistry with me after all
Good teaser, I got the cloud part, but I don't know anything about the Periodic Table so I couldn't complete the sentence.
I quessed wrong but it was a good teaser. Thanks for the post.

It pays to be a science geek
Very clever. I didn't get it but I didn't know what the middle words were. Darn.
I came up with "Look for the silver lining" -- the title of a lovely old song. Close, but not quite the right wording. Oh well.
This one has been used so much, it has become a black cloud!!
easy but fun. I didn't know what Ag stood for but I knew it was ssome kind of chemical so I got it right.
Easy. For a moment I thought Ag was gold, and thought "gold... clouds" but the "silver lining" expression quickly came to mind.
Good rebus.
Fun and easy! Good job!
You shoulda included a GRAY in there.... "Every silver lining has a touch of gray" ~ Grateful Dead
Nice one.
I could make out the type of cloud and Silver but just could not relate them to get the answer.

I got the silver and the clouds but got blocked there. Clever one!
Got it on the 1st try! Nicely done
Got it after a few moments of thinking. Good teaser!
nice work.. i didnt get it.. i had ag around clouds and gave up.. silly me.. i like your work tho.. very tricky..
Easy but nicely thought out
I personally enjoyed it and thought it was clever even if a bit easy. That being said, unless you have some knowledge of science and chemistry you would have no way of knowing that Ag is sliver or that those were all clouds.
I got this one correct. I'm not sure if it was because I know that they were clouds inside, or if I identified Ag as silver, or if I remember this teaser from a few months/years ago - but anyway it was a good one. Fairly easy and fun! Thanks for posting! (Wearing sunglasses hoping for a sunny day today!)
Sometimes your brain seizes up, and others it is ZOT !!! Immediate answer. This was the latter, Feeling good 'bout my brain Such as it is
It's true! You have to know what all those stand for or what clouds are before you can get this one. I knew it was silver, but did not know those were clouds. To all you smug people who say it was pathetically easy let us congratulate you on being so smart and looking down on the rest of us who do not know everything. I bow to you!
too easy
I liked it
I want to get my comment in before it comes back in two months.

All that time playing No Man's Sky paid off!
And it came back as expected.
Fun, easy and entertaining teaser; I got this one very quickly.
that was pretty easy, the periodic table hanging on my wall helped
