"that" can only be "the marked price of everything", nothing else was mentioned.
50 + 25 = 75.

read the question carefully and you will find that the answer given is correct. Perhaps the example may help you understand canu.

Why explain with an example instead of showing how it is calculated. If you want to verify the answer with an example fine, but at least show how it is calculated:
