Riddle
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.Riddle
I woke up with a fright, my back kind of itchin',
when I heard a large clutter, inside my kitchen.
I went down to see what had went wrong,
the room was a mess, the milk was all gone.
I needed to think, so I sat in my chair,
but when I stood up, I was covered with hair.
My antiques and jewelry were all still in place,
but my tile and my carpet looked like a disgrace.
So what kind of break in could this have been?
Who drinks all the milk and leaves hair in my den?
when I heard a large clutter, inside my kitchen.

i think this was a better teaser than "oh my! you have a gift of rhyming
realli gud i luved it!!!
a group of cats is a cluSter, not a cluTter
Though the rhyming was nice, this teaser could be shortened a great deal.
Drunk milk + hair all over the place = CATS!
(I have 4, I should know. )

I thought maybe a "cat burgler....
Cat burgler LOL... yeah, he stole the cats (and w/ the scuffle left cat hair) and then took the milk to feed them later Anyway, weather its clutter or cluster, I got it w/o knowing. But I love youre gift of rhyming!!!
i sang the teaser while reading it. then i got the answer
ben dont rhyme wid den
soz. i meant 2 saY BEEN dont ryhme wid DEN
Well, where I'm from, we pronounce "been" the same as "Ben." I guess that's my northern Minnesotan accent (I can't believe I admitted I have an accent). I know that in other places, it's pronounced more like "Bean," but I think you get the general idea.
I believe here in America, been DOES rhyme with den! (and not only in Minnesota, cuz im from South Carolina, and I have an accent, but I still pronounce it like Ben!)Good teaser BTW!Loved it!
Texas here, and been DOES rhyme with den....here anyway, LOL
Nice teaser.... cats were fairly obvious culprits, although froggygg's suggestion works too, at least as a humorous answer...
