Brain Teasers
The Kidnapping of Greg
Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation
Greg had always hated Fred and one day he went to the police and said that he had been kidnapped by Fred. He said that he had tried to escape, but Fred had opened the door right before Greg was going out. He said he had tripped and stumbled and Fred immediately closed the door, which forced him inside since he had thought the door swung in, not out, but he had been wrong. He said the way he got out was he found a screwdriver in the back of the room and had taken off the hinges. The police were immediately able to prove Fred's innocence. How?
Answer
If the door swung out, the hinges would be on the outside.Hide Answer Show Answer

That was easy I liked the story but the door gave it away completely.
The story is very confusing, I bet it could have some words cleaned out of it so it is easier to understand
I'm sorry, but the teaser is worded in an overly stupid manner. Are you expecting a normal human being to understand what you are trying to say? If so...
Hey, this is in the one of the Encyclopedia Brown books, Cheater
I thought it was cause if Fred kidnapped him wouldn't he still be at Fred's house.
