What if you slanted the ones to make \/|| \/? That would be 7 and 5 to make twelve
or {[(11+1)/1]-1}+1
There are a number of other ways, since multiplying by 1, dividing by 1, or raising to the 1 power does not change the number.
For example:
1x1x1x(11+1) or
1x(11+1+1-1) or
(11+1-1+1)/1 or
(11+1+1-1)^1 or
11 + 1/1 +1 - 1 etc.
For example:
1x1x1x(11+1) or
1x(11+1+1-1) or
(11+1-1+1)/1 or
(11+1+1-1)^1 or
11 + 1/1 +1 - 1 etc.
I also have an answer; how about XI+I???

gd teaser...but not wat i was thinking. i thought it would be like this: - 12 (but made out of ones) so having a normal number one for the 1 infront of the 2 and the 5 other 1's making the 2 like on a digital clock that sort of 2! if u know wat i mean, it's confusing to explain!
I was thinking in a complete other direction. As in the numbers on a digital clock, 12 would need 6 sticks. 1 is made out of 1 stick, and the 2 out of 5 sticks, which i replaced with 1s.
there could be another ways also like:
((1+1+1)!)+((1+1+1)!)
((1+1+1)!)+((1+1+1)!)
I figured 11 was the expected approach. Many ways to get to 12 from there.
I also had:
1/.1 + 1/1 + 1*1
(1+1+1)! * (1+1) * 1
(1+1+1+1)! / (1+1)
I also had:
1/.1 + 1/1 + 1*1
(1+1+1)! * (1+1) * 1
(1+1+1+1)! / (1+1)
