I don't get it. please explain. (no offense or anything, I just don't like the 4x tables. never did.)
If this number, ABCD, is being multiplied by 4, then it's answer, DCBA must be even... So A must be even. From there you just start working it out using logic and trial and error
First thing is that A can only be 1 or 2, since the resulting number is four digits. Then, since 4 x ABCD= DCBA, therefore DCBA/4= ABCD. So BA must be divisble by 4. So, BA can only = 12. Then you just multiply 21CD by 4 and deduce the values that C and D can have. Fun but simple!
