I Give Birth In My Death
Riddle
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.Riddle
I give birth in my death
Some study me from far away
But they can't get any closer
Some dedicate their lives to me
And I still remain untouched
I am a mystery
To even those who know every essence of me
They know every move I make
All of my personal patterns
You think you know everything about me
But you don't and never can.
What am I?
Some study me from far away
But they can't get any closer
Some dedicate their lives to me
And I still remain untouched
I am a mystery
To even those who know every essence of me
They know every move I make
All of my personal patterns
You think you know everything about me
But you don't and never can.
What am I?
Answer
A Star.A star going supernova (exploding) releases its components, which are then used to create other stars.
People with telescopes study stars from far away, but can't get closer to them.
Astronomers dedicate their lives to studying the stars, but still can't touch them.
We don't know a lot about stars, so they are a mystery, even to astronomers who know every essence of them.
Astronomers can see when stars move and predict what moves they will make, thus their personal patterns.

How does a star give birth in its death. If a star burns out (such as our own sun), we would all die...
Good Brain Teaser.Made me think for a while.
freaking gd! did u get it 4m the hobit or sumthing cuz there wuz this other riddle lyke this 1 and the answer wuz the same...
eyecue:a star is made up of atoms and particles, etc. When a star explodes, or goes supernova, it releases these particles which are then used to create new stars. See this webpage, section "Are We Made Of Stardust?" http://imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/science/know_l2/supernovae.html
clear_water, no, i did not get this teaser from somewhere else. I created it myself, and if you've heard a similar one before, then it is purely a fluke!

i don't like these kind of teasers because the answer could be anything, and i think they are really hard.
wow it's a great teaser... ...the answer, a star really shocked me....cuz i was thinking of a mummy .. i like that teaser very much... keep it up
I have another Answer:
The sun!!!
When it dies (sunset) it gives birth to the dark (moon)
See what i mean Guyz.
And it really works for this riddle so it is a bi-riddle with 2 answers:
Sun Star

It waz hard for me but it was really smart!!! I liked it but wen it said i give birth in mi death i thought it meant a mother dieing while giving birth. woops! But these kinda riddles scare me coz thinkin of the Sun explodin iz freakkkyyyyyy
Really good teaser- I love how you can think up different answers! But Im sure the sun will not explode in our life time- I hope.
Probably would've been much easier if it hadn't been worded so awkwardly.... and I hadn't been focusing on the fact that the author tried and failed at rhyming...
And by the way.. the sun IS a star, so there is still only one answer...

Horse luver: by the time the particles from our sun makes new stars we would be cold and dead... a star. Come back when life is discovered anywhere else in the universe besides here
It was good, but it was easy (for me) I read
"I give birth in my death
Some study me from far away" and i knew it. But it was really good, and i liked it! To some it could be really hard, so good job!
