Vending machines that rely on size AND weight of coins to work would not be fooled by fake ice coins of the size of metal coins, because their weight would be much less. The density of ice is 0.897, that of copper and of nickel 8.9, that of zinc 7.049, that of silver 10.5, that of gold 19.32.
The teaser only asks what you THINK happened, not what ACTUALLY happened. BTW, good point canu. Otherwise, you're thinking outside of the box on that one, zodiacus_303.
Uh..the cleaners were mopping the floor underneath the vending machines?
As it is London it was raining - as people came in to use the machine they dripped water into pools
yeah, like anyone couldve figured that out. That was waaaaaay 2 hard.
I don't think that this teaser was very correct at all like canu said the weight of those metal coins would be much less and plus there is no possible way for one to figure this out without having more information on the topic.
