There are three modern children, so obsessed with Greek mythology, that they've actually started to believe it. Each kid (Sarah, Christian, and Stacy) worship three different gods (Hermes, Helios, and Demeter) in three different countries (USA, Romania, and Greece).
1.The Herald of the gods is worshiped by the American girl.
2. Stacy used to use Drachma to buy things.
3. The one who lives in Bucharest loves the sun.
4. Stacy worships the Goddess.
5. Demeter's worshiper is the closest to Mount Olympus.
6. Christian shares his homeland with Dracula.
7. Had Sarah loved Roman Mythology, she would worship Mercury.
8. Sarah's country is the largest of the three.

Answer
Sarah worships Hermes in AmericaStacy worships Demeter in Greece
Christian worships Helios in Romania
Clue #1 states that The American girl worships the herald of the gods. Hermes was a messenger to Zeus in Greek Myth. Clue #2 states that Stacy used to use Drachma to buy things. Greece used to use the Drachma as currency, but lately, has switched over to the Euro. Clue #3 states that the kid who lives in Bucharest loves the sun. This means that s/he worships the sun, Helios, in Greek Mythology. Also Bucharest is the capital of Romania, meaning that the kid who worships Helios lives in Romania. Clue #4 states that Stacy worships a Goddess. This means that she worships Demeter, the only Goddess out of the three. Clue #5 states that Demeter's worshiper is the closest to Mount Olympus, in Greece. Since clue #4 establishes that Stacy worships Demeter, that means that she lives in Greece. Clue #6 says that Christian shares his homeland with Dracula. This means that Christian is from Romania, because Dracula was from Romania (although not Transylvania). Since clue #3 said that the Romanian one worships Helios, we know that Christian worships Helios. Clue #7 states that Sarah would have worshiped Mercury, had she loved Roman Mythology. Mercury was the name the Romans gave to Hermes. Clue# 8 stated that Sarah lived in the largest of the three countries. This could only be America, since the United States is the fourth largest country in the world, smaller only than Russia, Canada, and China. Oh, the last hint under ''Hint'', was because Helios was the sun in Greek Mythology. Apollo was the God of light.

it's a good one! keep on posting!
Thanks!!!!
This was good because I liked having to think about my mythology lessons from high school, but I solved it by the 4th clue. The others were unnecessary. Good one!
i don't know anything about roman mythology, so it took me a couple of tries and the hint to get it right.....
I am definately not a geography guru, , but it was ok. Simple if you knew geography, but I like the twist of having other knowledge, which I didn't.
I dont think it was greek, to me it was some sort of alien language.
its a good teaser, but you didnt need all those clues...i only used like four of them...
This one was quite easy! i only had to use i clue.
i meant 'one (1)' clue and not 'i' clue. ooops!
That was cool!
great puzzle! kinda easy tho. the last few ones just kinda cemented the answers keep em comin!
The possible was not hard because of logis but because of the background knowledge that you needed about mythology and geography. I love mythology so I was halfway there.
Wow. I know NOTHING of Greek mythology, so it took me like ten minutes to figure everything out. Oh well. Great teaser though!
2 hard 4 me
In order to solve this you have to have some knowledge of mythology, and foreign currency. The only thing I knew for sure was that Demeter was a goddess. Other than that I guessed. You should not assume the reader has the same knowledge as you. When making a logic puzzle, you should assume that the reader only has the knowledge of the info you provide.
Why didn't they worship the Big Three? (Zeus, Poseidon, Hades)?
Cute little puzzle, but had it figured by the first 3 clues.
Very nice twist with the mythology. It's nice to use my knowledge of it once in a while!
You have too many clues. Otherwise, it was a very nice teaser. Good job and I hope to see more from you!

I found several of the clues duplicated each other, ie spends drachma - near Mt Olympus etc. It could have been refined to make it more difficult.
For Crocodile, (if you are still around after all these years ) Surely Hades was the land of the dead across the river Styxx? and not a Greek god?
