Brain Teasers
Free Jeans!
A clothes shop was running a promotion giving away free jeans. In order to get the free jeans you had to try a pair on, then, while still wearing the jeans you had to put your right hand in the left pocket and your left hand in the right pocket and reach right to the bottom of the pockets at the same time. Many people tried but were unable to achieve the feat until one chap walked in and walked out a few minutes later with his free jeans. How did he do it?
Hint
He managed to do it without crossing his arms.Answer
He tried the jeans on inside-out. The left pocket was then on his right side and the right pocket was then on his left side.Alternate answer: He tried the jeans on backwards.

He could do the same feat by putting the jeans on backwards.
Good one! Thanks!
Good one, I thought he put his hands in his back pockets though.

thatd be kind of weird wouldnt it? cuz you would have to out your hands inside your jeans. i just tried it and its easier to just cross your arms
put jeans on backwards it take less time
Good one, but very easy to figure that one out. Does not make any difference...inside out or on backwards. Both correct answers as the author pointed out.

yep; backwards
I easily accomplished it just by crossing my arms with jeans on normal.
I got the answer and the alternative answer before I even finished reading the teaser. Woo-hoo!
My solution was also to put them on backwards, but I think they would have been more comfortable to wear by putting them inside out instead!
I just filed a class action law suit against that clothing store on behalf of those that have no hands.
I got the "backwards" answer.
feel backward more likely for success. 1st answer means digging for pocket wedged between jeans and your body. I liked puzzle to... Because I got it
This one seems a bit flawed, as the comments show. The inside-out solution was not obvious to me. When I read that answer, I had to try to picture how the pockets would align when inside out. I had trouble with that. From that standpoint, this was an interesting exercise.
Got this one right away, same as most others. First thought was backwards, then decided inside out also worked.
