Brain Teasers
Bitten Ear
Riddle
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.Riddle
My full head of teeth had begun to yellow
With a whitened beard, long before I did mellow.
As for you, Mike Tyson m'dear
You're welcome to bite my ear
From me many a flake is born
Yet snowy winter days I distinctly scorn.
Your Mom has a nerve to go
With my Pop to a show.

I agree with dead eye. Never would have gotten that. Ok maybe if I would have thought about it more.

Very cute with nifty clues! I surprised myself by getting it! Thanks.
Well every clue led me to think it was Jack Frost, so I had a hard time figuring out the Mom and Pop to the show bit. Neat little teaser.
Very, very clever. I didn't get it, but I really like it.
Very good teaser!
Cute! The "teeth" part through me off track though. Never thought of corn kernels that way before.
That was easy! Mike Tyson gave it away. You know, the ones I think are hard, it seems everyone else thinks are easy and the ones I think are easy everyone else thinks are hard. Am I too simple minded?
Well written but fairly easy.
I thought this one was a bit too easy, but well written. Kudos !
Very easy. I got it right away.
Good teaser, but I'm surprised that no one caught the "scorn" thingy. That gave it away real quick. Great teaser. Keep up the good work

Nuff said.
I'm afraid all I could come up
with was "Popcorn" Not an ear
of corn. Oh well I was on the
right track.

Got corn fairly quickly. Just had to read through the poem once (slowly, of course!) to get it right; but then again, I can easily analyze poems for their metaphorical meanings.
This was an interesting teaser and it was quite easy. Keep on creating creative and fun teasers like this one!

I agree, very creative
Haha, that was good!
Cool
I didn't like this one at all. The lines didn't flow for me, and some of the references were far too obscure, in my opinion. Seems most others liked it, so it's probably just me, but I do like to give my honest opinion in these comments (especially since only me and one or two others ever comment anymore!)
With it now being so many years after this riddle was written, I would guess that many readers will not appreciate the "Mike Tyson" reference.
