in the clues you said either John or david won the sparring division, so in the answers how can John have won the sparring?

Good one! I agree that it was nice to have an easier one....
My only question is how in the world a White belt got to break boards?! I had to wait until my purple belt for that! (And then I had to quit, so I've only gotten to break a total of one board... )

YCTA, not ATA. :-) In most all of our tournaments, all color belts may compete in breaking.
I am a camo belt (and yes, I go to ATA)
