Logic Grid puzzles come with a handy interactive grid that will help you solve the puzzle based on the given clues.Logic-Grid
Try to find out who was born what year and in what month using the following clues. The names are Summer, Jenae, Bill, Adam, and George. The years are 1910, 1920, 1942, 1952, and 1955. The months are January, April, July, August, and October.
Summer was born before Jenae who was born after Bill.
Adam and George, in no particular order, were born October 1952, and July 1910.
No one was born the month that shared the same first letter as their name's first letter.
A girl was born in a month that is also a girl's name.
Whoever was born in 1955 was born in August.
Jenae and Adam are the youngest and oldest, but not necessarily in that order, but possibly could be...
Bill was not born in a warm month (i.e. spring and summer months are considered warm in this case.) He was born in 1942.

Good Job...
fun and easy.. nice combo
This was a cool teaser but the one about the girl who was named after the months she was born threw me off. I just ignored the hint and the rest came ez. great job.
Nevermind. I reread it and it all makes sense now. Sry.
Cool. I just finished doing that stuff in ny math class, so it was easy!
I liked this puzzle! Although I will admit I had a stupid moment and read the first clue as a bit of a sequence - Summer THEN Jenae THEN Bill - but I realized my mistake and managed to get everything right in the end. Nice job!
Nice teaser, I kept looking at it and I had to remind myself that with birthdays the later year is younger.
yeah I have the same problem as MorbidLies with the years and ages -- it's a total mental block for me! This one I got though, so I guess I'm getting better.
nice teaser Last clue was not necessary to solve at all, but well done for the first time!
Ha ha old peoples
But seriously, great teaser! Especially liked the hint about "not in that particular order, but possibly could be..."

I found the clue "A girl was born in a month that is also a girl's name." to be rather ambiguous. First of all, wasn't certain if Jenae was a girl. Second, while I thought it was pointing to April, I happen to know a girl named August. So that left me unsure what I was supposed to be marking off.
Fortunately, that clue turned out to be redundant - I just ignored it, and still had no problem solving the teaser. And actually, as it turned out, both girls - assuming Jenae is a girl - were born in a month that's also a girl's name.

It just occurred to me, this group of siblings' years of birth, span 45 years, their parents must have been remarkable people.
