Brain Teasers
Why, Skid Mark, Why?
After recent events, Question Mark is annoyed with his brother, Skid Mark. Skid thought it would be funny to hide Question's wallet. He told Question that he would get it back if he finds it. So, first off, Skid laid five colored keys in a row. One of them is a key to a room where Skid is hiding Question's wallet. Using the clues, can you determine the order of the keys and which is the right key?
Red: This key is somewhere to the left of the key to the door.
Blue: This key is not at one of the ends.
Green: This key is three spaces away from the key to the door (2 between).
Yellow: This key is next to the key to the door.
Orange: This key is in the middle.

Good teaser and good job only I didn;t get the answer ! I was too tired to think...so I guess the next one will really hurt my brain !Anyway, goo job!!
VERY NICE. i HAD TO MAKE A LITTLE CHART BUT i GOT IT. LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT!
tricky thing...really a brain twister
Ah, the blissful irony! You lovely, innocent Americans have no idea what "skid mark" means in the UK. Bless.
And you even chose it for the title. Hehe!
And you even chose it for the title. Hehe!
got the order correct. this is the first one i've gotten without cheating!YEA
p.s. we doooo know what skidmark means here.
Easy peasy! Fun, though. I knew it was blue REALLLY QUICK, the hard(er) part was the order!
it was easy, but it was still fun
Fun! I really enjoyed this one - keep them coming!

great teaser!!! I got it right!!
This was a good puzzle for ADD-types: Made you focus for a bit, but with a little concentration, you could do it in your head! Fun, fun, fun. Espec. like "Skid Marks"
This was fun. I made a little map and figured out the keys. Now, is anyone going to tell skidmark to take a bath or not?
I figured it out but I'm not sure how. Loved this one
Who doesn't know what skid marks are? I'm sure most three year olds know what they are-- American, Aussies, Brits, whatever. Why do you think the author used that name? Anyway, good teaser, Question Mark!
Well now, I could not do it in my head, by my nice little table graph worked out very nicely to
I thought it was great fun...and I didn't figure it out in my head..had to write it down. Hmmm.is that a sign of getting old?
Short and sweet. An occasional logic problem is perfect to cleanse the palate. They're so very logical.
NICE.
it was okay
Somehow I messed it up, but I knew that the Blue was the one w/the key. Its getting late...so goodnight! oh, this was fun to play!
Nice one! Different and nice!
Good Teaser thanks
i had to write it down but i got your wallet back
Thanks methlos
I was looking for my money.
Fun, but you could tell just from reading the clues that the blue one was the key to the door. But it was still fun, good job!
Good Job, I like it.
GOOD ONE. I'D LIKE 2 C U ADD ANOTHER VARIABLE OR TWO IN R FUTURE TEASERS.
Why do all the comments say "This is offensive" under the commenter's name? Not because of the skid-mark title, is it?
No, you click on it if someone posts an offensive comment.
Skid marks are just gross

Ha Ha Ha , I finally got it right this time, looks like i'm opening up.
Logically, logic puzzles are full of logic, and this one was no different, but I liked it a lot.
These logic treasers seem complex but if taken step by step they are easy. I just don't have the patience to do the steps.Sorry.Just not my thing I guess.
I'll ditto Bradon, nothing personal...I know everyone has their fave categories. I took the time on this one, and after a few pictures and some trial and error got it no problem. I have to think there's a better way, though! Good teaser, thanks for submitting!
Why not Y,R,O,B,G ? THERFORE RED DOOR
never mind I see now
Spectacular teaser! Question Mark. You gave enough info, yet not too much. People will soon realize, logic puzzles requires one to use their figuring and common sense abilities. Hence, a logic problem. For some, you have to offer a straight out, simple clue... Very Awesome, though
I like to start my day (and my brain) with a cup of coffee and a teaser like this. Great job! Keep them coming!
Great Teaser Question Mark! Logic teasers are my favourite!!! I agree with above...just enough info but not too much. A quick teaser to perk me up in the morning!!!
Excellent teaser. Could get the right key easily, but had to work a little (luckily without using pen-paper) to get the right order. Wish we could get more such teasers. Keep up the good work.

Great!
Well well, I worked it out, and got it right! good job on this teaser!
Good job QM!
Great job. These are my favorites!
I like this kind of teaser. And I actually figured it out!
Woohoo! Daily teaser! Thanks for all your comments everyone
it was a good one fellas, I missed it by one, I counted from the right and included the third count as the answer. Got me. thumbs up!!!
brain slow today...brain tired.....brain got teased
Aww, didn't get it, coz I don't want to write stuff down; there's no room on my desk, specially when my gdarn cat has to lay right next to the keyboard, and me, whenever I'm PCing, lol!
Good teaser. I've done this kind in my head before, but I couldn't do this whole thing in my head.

Wow, that was fun... I had to develop a new style of jotting down the info in order to figure it out.
Did anyone else notice how GRODY this teaser was?

Awesome teaser!
I love these that make you think a bit yet are totally logical. A great way to start the day!

Very nice!
Great logic teaser. Thought I had the answer, looked, and, rats, that's not what I had. So I had to go back and find my mistake. I found it and now I have it right. Does that count? Please?
nice and easy....i like these kind...
This is very similar to the logic games on the LSAT.
YES!!!!!!! I'm the 68th comment!! Finally my dream come true! lol! ANYWAYS... I liked this teaser! It was easy for me but fun! I kinda guessed where two of the keys were and it got me the right answer! yippy! Thanks a million! This was fun to solve!!!!!
It also works as red, blue, orange, yellow green, orange being the key.
this one was easy, there are 2 keys that did not metion he key to the door, it had to be one of them, it couldnt be the orange one cuz that was in the middle and couldnt be 3 spaces from the green one

OK, maybe I'm missing something stupid. But why not, Green-Red-Orange-Blue-Yellow?
@adamcj - Check the answer again.
Must admit I needed paper and pen. Very good teaser, like this kind a lot.
I didn't find the order of the keys, just figured out the blue key opened the door.
Hmmm...I didn't get this one and I thought my chart was right. I got the blue key as the correct key but I had R,B,O,Y,G. I know, looking at the clue again, that yellow should have been next to blue but somehow, I couldn't get that to work!
I needed to write it down but got it. Very fun! Thanks!
NICE1!!! Good job
Excellent little teaser to start the day. Thanks. I'm still trying to work out the significance of the title - or is it just random?
Some solvers proudly announce that they found the correct key easily - true, but that's only half the problem!
Some solvers proudly announce that they found the correct key easily - true, but that's only half the problem!
gracieboo that's what I got too!
Great quick solve that, for once on this website, required a little thought. Just get rid of the attempt at the tacked-on 'story'.
That was fun.
I do not do these. They are just not the kind I like. Sorry folks!
Pretty easy with little effort. However, I do enjoy this type of teaser.
Got it! Once I had all the possible Key locations, I went room by room in order to solve it, so it took some time. As luck had it, I picked the correct room last. Excellent teaser imo.
Nailed it! I was going to test the green key in each position to see if they were valid, and as luck would have it, it was the first one!
Fun and entertaining teaser; I got the Blue Door correct as the one where Skid Mark was hiding with Question Mark's wallet but could not get the correct order.
This is a great logic puzzle! The blue key can be identified pretty quickly by process of elimination. The order takes a bit more thought, but the solution can be found without pen or paper. Just wonderful.
Thanks ?, loved it!
