Hi:
This riddle reminded me of Mulla Nasroldin. He had a bad handwriting. So whenever he wrote a letter, he took the letter to the receiver himself be cause nobody could read his handwriting.
Anyway it is a teaser and my little brain.

never would have guessed that one but cool...
well, i don't get it either. since when is a bull adorable, and what on earth is the "whan a door is not a door" joke? sorry, the answer doesn't do much
the first 2 bits are 2 parts of the word "adorable"
the first comes from the old riddle, "when is a door not a door?"
when its a jar. (ajar, as in open)the answer is a door.
the second bit is the reference to matadors. the answer is a bull.
if you put then together you get a-door-a-bull or adorable.
the third verse puts it all together in case you missed the first 2 clues. a babies smile? adorable.
its a cute riddle

Dazed & Confused!!
Wow. I mean, like, wow.
I still say the "what am I used for" line is odd
It rhymed. Get over it.
For rhymes with what??
Would have never gotten it in a million years.
Well, I got the bull part right away, but couldn't figure out the jar part. So, as I was getting my second cup of coffee, I asked myself, "a jar? a jarbull? mason jar? what the? Oh, right; when is a door not a door!" Very nicely done teaser!
