Hmm... I'm not sure about this one because he could have easily been killed in any number of ways.
Burgular snuck through window, killed rich man, took all the $ that he could carry, left the rest lying on the floor.

One trick I know to throw people off is to say that rays are coming through the window - the rays, of course, being manta rays.
