Threes and Eights
Using the four digits 3,3,8,8 and the mathematical operators +,-,*,/ write an expression equal to 24. You must use each digit exactly once, but may use each operator multiple times, or not at all. Parentheses are allowed. The following would be a valid expression:
(8 + 3)/(8 + 3) = 1
(8 + 3)/(8 + 3) = 1
Hint

nice one, i played the 24 game b4 and they had that one. i forgot it for a while tho, then i remmebered. hehe
My alternative solution:
(8x3)squared/(8x3)
(8x3)squared/(8x3)
matthewmurch, you aren't allowed to use exponents
In addition to the given solution I also got:
8/.3 - 8/3 = 24
I figured since the teaser so explicitly used "digit" instead of "number" that .3 was legal.
8/.3 - 8/3 = 24
